A Corrupt Government belongs to a Corrupt Electorate

We went back to sleep now

Government is Corruption:
Corruption; an impairment of integrity, virtue, or moral principle; depravity.
To govern is to corrupt. We only have our own experiences and morals from which to make any judgement. Using this formula throughout life, as we all do, every decision is corrupted by the beliefs and morals, we were taught.  Our decisions are then further corrupted by our own experiences. Government, by its very design, is corrupted by the compounding of the individuals that comprise it.

The corruption I speak of is in all forms unintentional, yet some can be as simple as something a grandfather says to his grandson. Any time we hear a story start with, "When I was a boy," that is in itself just a story. It is a corruption of the future really. It is the ones about religion and government that corrupt the most.
I am corrupted from being born here. Was I given a choice of religion, or was one chosen for me. Our parents start the first of the one sided view of life. Then we go into the political that starts young also. You know how your parents political views  are passed down to you. They where doing it right . Then it went bad when the other side gets power or control.

These corruptions all start early in life. But 200 years into stories and little unintended corruptions. It has come full circle. We are no longer free. We have got to where we want to legislate morals based on one's beliefs. Each corruption was small and harmless, yet compounded over the years. This has proven to be detrimental to society as a whole.

The corruptions, small and unintended, are really our own fault. We have allowed them to continue to grow. Over the years, each past corruption guided us one way just a little more until the next generation of new little corruptions.  To the precipice we are at now. Do we take that last step and let our people be ruled by a religion, or belief, or do we say no to our own corruption. Stop telling our children our way was the better way. We need this government to run with and for us, not by a god of belief. Why you ask? Because we once believed in witches and people were murdered for others beliefs. That is very detremental to a society in any form.

My associate on the west coast posted that article to illustrate something some of us don’t see or refuse to see. That is the reason government in some instances does not work the way intended. On every election cycle we see the same slogans going back to when we first started using radio, TV and the Internet to cover politics. Everybody is critical of the government and wants an opportunity criticize  it or become part of it.  Others just give up like if was the thing to do on a boat taking on water.

With few exceptions they get elected and either they make matters worse, joined the status quo or start working for themselves and making a scam to make money or more money. Strangely we had people come to politics rich and they become many times folds more rich.

The point of these words are not just to say that they are bad politicians but that the electorate is bad. That is something we seldom complaint about. Who ever occupies what ever the seat was put there by the electorate.
I am not blind to know that corporations have been given the reward by the Supreme Court to make them people when giving money to politicians. That is a problem.  But worse than this issue is the misinformed electorate.

This electorate either votes without knowing who they are voting for or vote for the person the union or the civil org is told them to vote or they vote simply on them selves. They want to feel winners so they vote for the one they feel is going to win or worse they vote for the one they think that can fix their money issues instead of voting on elections for the person that is best for the community at large( which includes that particular voter). Until we learn to behave as a community we will always get a divided government or a united government that will sell us on unnecessary wars and bridges to no where.

We came out of 8 years being part of the worse decade we’ve ever had since the civil war. An attack on our land killing thousands, on a depression that was weird enough the only people that made money was the people that created the depression then invested in the companies that were going to do well. The bankers did well, not their employees in many cases but the companies did very well. The ones that were penalized by the feds with  a few millions fines, resulted like UPS being ticketed for parking issues (happens thousands of times a year). It’s part of doing business and when you ship a parcel you pay for those tickets. Same with the bankers.

On the national elections following those years with the exception of the Presidency which aaas given to a man with a good heart that should have been a college professor or a Justice on the Supreme Court but for the white house he had no experience in government  more than that no heart for the politics of this age. I have no criticism for him really but the electorate that went ahead and reelected the same people that were mainly responsible or at least in the drivers seat when the depression and bombings in the WTC. Even if you disagree with everything Ive said so far; To reelect the people in the drivers seat and many cases in the pockets of the banks and Wall St?? There was a national outcry and mainly young people came to Wall Street to protest and take over.

My heart was with these mainly young people but I wonder how many of them voted on the following national election. I have to say not many! How do I know that? If they were so against Wall Street, why reelect and elect people that were in Wall Streets pockets?

They did not looked stupid to me so my guess is they did not vote. Whatever the reason.  Disappointed with the system? They had a chance to not change the system overnight but to put it on the right path. Today we have the same chances as before of the same thing to happen if the same principles come to play. Life is chemistry and the same actions always produced the same or similar results.

Insurance

We have given so much power through our representatives in government that insurance companies look at your credit report, arrest record and more!!~ before approving your application for insurance in your house, on your pet, fishing boat or car. Now some of them advertise they will forgive those that have accidents(1 or 2) to drum up some business but if you are behind a college loan they will deny you or just put you in the high risk categories and you will pay for those ‘ forgiven’ and every body that have accidents no matter how bad drivers they are. I don’t mind paying more if I have an accident but I don’t want to pay for my neighbor and his best friend having  1 or 2 accidents.  One is got a bad eye and the other one is a drunk. They have good credit reports and never been arrested for anything.

When we see wrong things coming from the government we forget is our government and we should find out who our representatives are and how they vote.  Do they vote for 30 story high ferris wheels in a hurricane zone A??  Because of the pressure put on them by peers and business community, real estate and construction communities? I might only vote for that calamity if there were studies that guarantee if the wheel comes off on a hurricane it will just  dance it’s way to the ocean and not destroyed everything around it like a bomb exploded by terrorists.
