Matt Lauer is Let Go After Complaint of Sexual Harassment

NBC "Today" star Matt Lauer, the highest paid personality in TV news, was fired following "a detailed complaint from a colleague about inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace," NBC News Chairman Andy Lack said this morning in an email to NBC News staff.
Between the lines: Several news outlets had reportedly been investigating Lauer for weeks, including the New York Times and Variety. Variety's New York Bureau Chief, Ramin Setoodeh, said they discovered multiple victims, and that NBC was aware of Variety's story.
The big picture: Lauer is the latest in a string of media men accused of sexual harassment in recent weeks.
The instant fallout:
  • Co-anchor Savannah Guthrie said at the top of "Today," reading Lack's statement and saying she had just learned the news: "This is a sad morning. … We are devastated. … We are still processing this."
  • Choking up, Guthrie said that as painful as the process is, this reckoning in workplaces is "long overdue... We promise to be transparent," she told viewers, promising to continue covering the story.
  • Trump tweeted within 20 minutes of the story breaking: "Wow, Matt Lauer was just fired from NBC for "inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace." But when will the top executives at NBC & Comcast be fired for putting out so much Fake News. Check out Andy Lack's past!"
Here is the full text of Andy Lack's email to staff:
On Monday night, we received a detailed complaint from a colleague about inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace by Matt Lauer. It represented, after serious review, a clear violation of our company's standards. As a result, we've decided to terminate his employment. While it is the first complaint about his behavior in the over twenty years he's been at NBC News, we were also presented with the reason to believe this may not have been an isolated incident.
Our highest priority is to create a workplace environment where everyone feels safe and protected, and to ensure that any actions that run counter to our core values are met with consequences, no matter who the offender. We are deeply saddened by this turn of events. But we will face it together as a news organization – and do it in as transparent a manner as we can. To that end, Noah and I will be meeting with as many of you as possible throughout the day today to answer your questions.
Editor's Note: NBC is an investor in Axios and Andy Lack is on the Axios board.

Work Place Sexual Harassment is Fed by the Sainthood Elevation of Powerful Men

Following the news that Harvey Weinstein sexually harassed and abused women for decades, waves of women in Hollywood are coming forward with allegations that describe a culture that permits widespread harassment and assault. This culture disproportionately affects women—but it does not affect women alone.
Actors Terry Crews, James Van Der Beck and Rob Schneider have all said that they have had executives or other powerful figures in Hollywood grope them or make sexual advances. Sexual harassment is not only about sexism. It’s the result of the patriarchy—and the way it works to give powerful men carte blanche to diminish others’ humanity.
Women are all too often singled out for sexual harassment in the workplace. A 2015 study of workplace harassment in Australia found that women filed nine out of 10 workplace harassment complaints, as just one example. Because of sexism, women are seen as sexual objects; as Andrea Dworkin wrote, women “are treated as if we are subhuman, and that is a precondition for violence against us.”
Sexual harassment is also the direct result of patriarchy—a system in which men hold the majority of the power, and in which masculinity is glorified. In patriarchy, masculinity and power are bound together. This means that power is inherently sexualized. The ultimate expression of power and authority in patriarchy is the ability to act with sexual impunity. And sexual impunity in patriarchy becomes an expected perk of power.
This is why many men in powerful positions wind up mistreating others. When Weinstein or Steven Seagal allegedly held meetings in a state of undress—or when Lyndon Johnson held meetings on the toilet— they were actively asserting their absolute power as patriarchs by showing they could violate bounds of sexual decorum. Donald Trump made this quite clear when he boasted about sexually harassing women. “When you’re a star they let you do it,” he said. Fame and power enable sexual abuse, and men act as if sexual abuse demonstrates fame and power.

Men usually signal and assert power in a patriarchy by sexually dominating and humiliating women. But they can also signal power by sexually humiliating men—particularly men of color, gay men, and young men. For patriarchs who behave this way, the goal is to show that you are the manliest of all men—and one way to demonstrate this is by treating other men the same way men treat women.
Sexual abuse, then, is not about sexual attraction or gratification; it’s an assertion of, and an abuse of, power. Understanding this is crucial to making a cultural shift. Putting in place more rules limiting contact between the sexes —following the Mike Pence rule of never being alone with women — isn’t helpful. Nor will it work to draw a strict line between work and after-hours socializing, as Josh Barro at Business Insider suggests. Harvey Weinstein wasn’t confused about the line between appropriate and inappropriate behavior. No one thinks that masturbating into a potted plant in front of a colleague is reasonable, whether you’re in the office or on a social outing.
Men can and do harass women when other people are around, in public spaces and in private ones. Men can harass and abuse other men when women aren’t present. To reign in sexual abuse, we don’t need more restrictions on women. We need more restrictions on power.
Hierarchical workplaces, in which people at the top are seen as infinitely more important than the people at the bottom, encourage abuse and mistreatment. Unions have a mixed record on combating sexual harassment, but at the very least—by putting standard procedures in place and holding employers accountable—they have the potential to identify and punish abusers.

Trump says "I could see it on Weinstein a Dem. Donor"

Creating more gender parity in upper-management positions will also help to address the problem. Having women in power undermines the patriarchal logic that says that power is about manliness and that you show you are powerful by humiliating your subordinates.
We also need more legal scrutiny of abusive contracts. Roger Ailes and others have used confidentiality clauses in contracts to prevent victims from talking about rape and abuse. Harvey Weinstein’s contract allowed him to settle sexual harassment lawsuits with no other consequences, according to a TMZ report. A judge refused to allow pop singer Kesha to break her contract with her producer Dr. Luke on the grounds that Luke’s abusive behavior was “foreseeable.” In other words, from the standpoint of contract law, Kesha should have known better, so any abuse is her responsibility. In all of these cases, maintaining the prerogatives of those at the top is more important to the legal system than the safety and humanity of victims. That’s patriarchy—a system that protects men in power.
Of course, abusers aren’t just protected by laws. They’re also protected by the reluctance to challenge or restrain, powerful people. When victims speak out and are taken seriously, others begin to believe that power can be challenged. That’s why Weinstein’s fall has led to a deluge of revelations about others, including Seagal and Ben Affleck—and two men coming forward to say that they have been harassed as well.
Currently, our laws and our culture venerate men in power and protect them from facing consequences for their actions. The default assumption is that successful men have proven their superiority by virtue of their money and influence and that they have therefore earned the right to treat other people as beneath them. Weinstein’s fall is an opportunity to try to create a different culture, in which men in power are accountable for their actions. That would be a boon for people of every gender.

Son of Coach Sandusky Going to Jail Like his Dad for Child Sexual Abuse

Jeffrey Sandusky, one of the sons of former Penn State football assistant coach Jerry Sandusky, pleaded guilty to child sexual abuse Friday in Pennsylvania.
One of the sons of former Penn State football assistant coach Jerry Sandusky has pleaded guilty to 14 counts of child sexual abuse in Centre County, Pa.
The Centre Daily Times reports that the younger Sandusky was charged earlier this year:
"Jeffrey Sandusky was charged in February after state police at Rockview began an investigation when a 16-year-old known to Jeffrey Sandusky reported that he had sent the minor text messages asking for nude photos in March 2016. Another minor told police that Jeffrey Sandusky had asked her to perform sex acts on him when she was 15 years old, according to a release from the District Attorney's Office."
Due to go on trial next week, Sandusky, 41, pleaded guilty to two misdemeanors and 12 felonies in a deal with prosecutors, under which he would serve three to six years in prison. The judge isn't bound by the deal and could sentence him to up to eight years.

Centre County District Attorney Stacey Parks Miller said the plea spares the victims the trauma of testifying. "We are happy that these girls can move forward and experience a life with adults that deserve their trust," she said.
The elder Sandusky was convicted in 2012 of 45 counts of child sexual abuse and sentenced to 30 to 60 years in prison. Earlier this year, three former Penn State officials were given jail sentences for failing to report him to authorities. Former head coach Joe Paterno, who died in 2012, was fired in 2011, also for failing to adequately report Sandusky.

The case of Coach Jerry Sandusky which shook University Coaches and how close they could get to some players:

[Update] Professor Allegedly Knifed to Death His Boyfriend in a Sexual Fantasy

Alleged Killers:

wyndham lathem
Wyndham Lathem,
andrew warren
Ed Farrell

The gruesome stabbing of a Northwestern University professor's 26-year-old boyfriend was part of the sexual fantasy conjured in a chatroom by the professor and an Oxford University employee, a Chicago prosecutor told a judge Sunday.
Microbiologist Wyndham Lathem, 46, and Andrew Warren, 56, met on the internet and discussed "carrying out their sexual fantasies of killing others and then themselves," Natosha Toller, an assistant state's attorney in Cook County, Illinois, said at a bond hearing, according to the Associated Press.
The pair had communicated for months before carrying out the July 27 killing of Lathem's boyfriend Trenton James Cornell-Duranleau, the prosecutor said. It is not clear why they did not carry out their alleged plan to kill themselves, or whether there were any other victims.
According to Toller, Lathem paid for Warren's ticket to fly to Chicago from the United Kingdom, where he was employed as a treasury assistant and picked him up at the airport a few days before the killing. One day before the murder, Lathem put Warren up in a hotel near his high-rise condo, where Cornell-Duranleau was later found dead, the prosecutor said.

Cornell-Duranleau, a 26-year-old hairstylist, had been asleep in Lathem's condo when the professor let Warren in, according to Toller's account. Lathem then began stabbing Cornell-Duranleau in his chest and neck with a 6-inch drywall saw the knife, Toller said. He allegedly asked Warren to record the killing, but Warren failed to do so.

Trenton James Cornell-Duranleau

When Cornell-Duranleau awoke, he began screaming and fighting back, while Lathem yelled at Warren to help subdue him, prosecutors claim; Warren then came over and struck the younger man in the head with a lamp, while Lathem continued to stab him. Warren then left the room and returned with two kitchen knives, allegedly joining in on the stabbing.
The prosecutor told the court that the victim's last words were to Lathem: "Wyndham, what are you doing?"
Cornell-Duranleau was stabbed 70 times, and with such force that he was nearly decapitated. His throat was slit and his pulmonary artery was torn.
After showering, prosecutors said, Lathem and Warren then left the apartment, kicking off what would become an eight-day manhunt for the suspects. They surrendered separately to authorities in California earlier this month. Both men have been charged with first-degree murder in Cornell-Duranleau's slaying.
In a strange twist, on the same day as the murder, Lathem made a $5,610 cash donation to Chicago's Howard Brown Health Center in the name "Cornell-Duranleau," according to the prosecution. He and Warren then drove to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, where Lathem left a $1,000 donation to the local public library in the victim's name, Toller said.
She also said Lathem recorded video messages of himself, in which he admitted to the killings. In the messages, which he sent to his parents and friends, the now-fired Northwestern professor, who did academic work on the bubonic plague, says that "he is not the person people thought he was," according to the prosecutor.
Cook County Associate Judge Adam Bourgeois Jr. declared both men potentially dangerous and a flight risk and ordered that they remain in jail until their trial.

This Guy Cheered Orlando victim’s Deaths, Guilty of Child Molestation

Adkins – Photo: FOX 30 Action News JAX.
An anti-gay Georgia pastor known best for his inflammatory rhetoric against the LGBTQ community had been found guilty of child molestation.
Bishop Kenneth Adkins, who runs churches in Brunswick, Ga., and Jacksonville, Fla., was charged with two counts of aggravated child molestation, five counts of child molestation, and one count of enticing a child.
A jury in Glynn County, Ga., debated for less than an hour on Monday before handing down guilty verdicts on all charges. Adkins faces a sentence of up to life in prison.

His attorney, Kevin Gough, has promised to appeal the verdict, and will be asking for a new trial, based on the belief that the prosecution withheld evidence that could have helped Adkins avoid a guilty verdict, reports the Florida Times-Union.
The charges relate to alleged sexual relationships with a teenage boy and a teenage girl at his church seven years ago. Adkins has continued to maintain his innocence, insisting he didn’t have a sexual relationship with either. His lawyers also insisted that any alleged encounter occurred when the teens were 16, meaning they were of the age of consent in Georgia.
A former drug addict who reinvented himself as an influential pastor and conservative activists and commentator, Adkins is best known for inflammatory comments he has made, including about members of the LGBTQ community.
When the city of Jacksonville was weighing passing LGBTQ nondiscrimination protections, Adkins infamously dressed in drag and posted pictures of himself in wigs on social media, in order to emphasize his belief that expanding the ordinance would allow “men” to go into women’s restrooms and violate their privacy.
“Tonight at 6pm at the Duval Democratic Banquet, Miss Kane in her very short Red Dress will deliver a message to the Homosexuals that have taken over the Duval Democratic Party,” Adkins wrote in a Facebook post. “I am going to ‘pee’ next to your women in the women’s bathroom and let’s see how y’all feel.”
Following the deadly massacre at Pulse nightclub in Orlando last summer, Adkins tweeted that he had “been through so much with these Jacksonville homosexuals that I don’t see none of them as victims. I see them as getting what they deserve!!”
When he was criticized for the tweet, he later backtracked, claiming he was talking about the LGBTQ community in Jacksonville, not specifically the Pulse victims.
He has also previously tweeted: “The Church is under attack…based on recent Supreme Court rulings! Without a standard in your house, the devil (Gays) will ruin it.”

55yrOld Gay Teacher in Mumbai Gets Blackmailed by Acquaintances

It is a well-known fact that many people who identify with the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community in India are walking a very fine line – be true to who he/she really is while also maintaining a cautious approach of how that comes across in day to day life. (case details at bottom)

55-year-old unmarried man gives up life’s savings and mother’s jewellery to blackmailer in 3-year extortion saga; one accused arrested

Amar (name changed), a 55-year-old government school teacher, had to go through blackmail and extortion for three years after he fell into a trap laid for him by his acquaintance. N Hemanth Kumar, a cyber centre owner, started working on the contours of the trap after he came to know that Amar is a homosexual.

Hemanth facilitated an encounter with a male partner for Amar in 2014 with the help of three others. Unknown to Amar, the encounter was filmed.

Since then, he and the others have been extorting money from Amar. So far Amar has had to part with cash and valuables adding up to Rs 31 lakh. He has given all his savings and blank cheque leaves, his ATM cards with the PIN numbers, bought the accused a scooter, sold his mother’s jewellery and did all he could to stop the footage going public.

When the harassment proved too much to bear, Amar approached a senior police officer for help. Seeing the gravity of the issue, the officer put a team of policemen on the job. Hemanth has been arrested and a search is on for the others.

Amar, a resident of Rajajinagar, would go to a cyber centre near his house to get photocopies of documents. He got acquainted with the centre owner Hemanth, 34.

The two talked about their personal lives and Hemanth came to that Amar is a bachelor, a government school teacher, and was living with his elderly mother and two brothers.

“In February 2014, Amar gave Hemanth his phone after there was a technical issue with it. Hemanth came upon gay porn videos on it when he was going through it. He surmised Amar may be interested in having sex with men. When he asked him, the victim sought Hemanth’s help to meet male partners. The accused then checked online for male partners and connected with Arun, another accused,” said an officer, who is part of the probe.

Arun approached Yusuf, the other accused in the case. Yusuf agreed to have a sexual encounter for Rs 10,000 a day. Hemanth is said to have discussed this with the victim. The victim agreed to pay the money and booked a cottage in Madikeri.

“Hemanth knew the victim would have saved up money. So he hatched a plot to trap him. Yusuf was to record his sexual encounter with the victim. At the cottage, Yusuf had fixed cameras and recorded their sexual encounter. He then handed a copy to Hemanth, another to Arun and kept one with himself,” the officer said.

A month after the incident, Hemanth showed the victim the video and started extorting money from him, the officer said.

Whenever Arun and Yusuf wanted money, they would approach Hemanth who would then blackmail the teacher and take money from him.

The trio took cash and valuables worth Rs 31 lakh -- of which Rs 18 lakh was in cash. They also extorted a home theatre system, iPhones and a two-wheeler. Hemanth had also used another of his friends Mani to make phone calls.

“Hemanth was arrested last week by the West division police. A search is on for the other three - Arun, Yusuf and Mani. We have managed to get cheque leaves and an electronic gadget worth Rs 50,000. The remaining money is yet to be recovered. A case of extortion has been registered under Section 384 of the Indian Penal Code,” the officer said.

The police will also visit the cottage where the alleged sexual encounter video was shot.

On a Two Yr old crime:

It is a well-known fact that many people who identify with the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community in India are walking a very fine line – be true to who he/she really is while also maintaining a cautious approach of how that comes across in day to day life. It is unfortunate that such people are held under a microscope with every single action of theirs being analysed and dissected by society, and most recently, for nefarious gains.

A 31-year-old gay man in Mumbai named Rajan was surreptitiously followed into a men’s bathroom by two strangers and coerced into performing oral sex on both of them. The act was recorded. The men then demanded that Rajan take them to a nearby ATM to withdraw his savings of Rs15,000 and if he refused, they would report the sexual encounter to the police.

“They knew I was gay. They were watching me and waiting… Even though society has not fully accepted us, the law was there to protect us. But now we are scared,” Rajan had told reporters.

Gay Couple Commits Suicide as Allegations of Sexual Misconduct are Made

  Matthew Deyo and Aric Babbit

The pictures and rest of the story can be found on the url at the end of the page. I just want to introduce the story and concentrate on the part that a married gay couple were accused by a teen they had acquired as friends from both the school were one taught and the other was a mentor to the teen when he came out as gay. The police reports a total of eight boys which came out and some state they met one of the couple at a Hilton Hotel for sex and others taken to a couple’s cabin. The police did find a cam hidden on a clock in the bathroom and from it there were naked pics.

This story exploded three months ago when the body of the couple was found at San Juan County in Minnesota but the friendship with this particular boy was long going (This posting is concentrating on this 16-17 yr old boy because I see evidence of a relationship which could have been sexual and was something that was going on for the last four years or so). It’s hard to believe no one was aware of it or wether it developed into anything else but mutual liking for these three individuals.

This couple accused of all the things you can imagine when parents find out their 17 yr old was skinny dipping at their pool and they hugged and kissed at occasions and other kids had come out with sex stories.  The couple was Aric Babbitt, 40, and Matthew Deyo, 36. Ten days after the story broke they shot each other with a gun. They ran away to a deserted beach feeling as one wrote to his mom on a note “too great to overcome” to explain and fearing what sex charges would do to their life, guilty or not and not able to move out to another country like Julian Assange (wiki-leaks) did when accused of rape in his country.

The original charges that probably were to follow (they were not charged as of their death) enough to scare anybody particularly people that are not law breakers but had their emotions carried them away from a proper conduct in dealing with underage kids even if they have already reached the age of consent. The way I know the story and the way you can place it on your mind like everyone will, because there is nothing wrong on many people’s mind of what went on and there is a bunch of crimes on the minds of some others including making someone gay. There are too many details that came out for which there is no proof, I am basing my description of this story on what is out to the public and most of it can’t be disputed by a rational human being.

There is no proof there were sex involved just a close relationship which became unprofessional and improper because the role this couple played as older guys in a position of power over the kids on particularly this 17 year old mind. He is the one that came out years before and it seems he is the one that bragged that these couple were his boyfriends (to his parents, Im sure you can imagine the scenario in which he would say that,  even without malice or with malice being pissed at one or both of the guys for any particular reason).

The parents regained hope that maybe their son was not really gay but made so by this couple. When I put all the pieces together I get a friendship which started mainly because this 17 yr old believe he was gay and was coming out years earlier and seeking support established a relationship as he was coming out as gay, which we know that is a very difficult time in a kids life which will be made so much easier by being supported by all people, a gay couple! One that was even married.

If you are educated about “gay” as a sexual orientation, not just an uneducated mouth piece that repeats what people were saying about the LGBT community before it became improper because it was not true then you You might be believe someone could make you gay.   No one has the capability to make someone gay or non-gay.
Let me repeat it in a way it can be pictured: If someone gets turn on by vaginas the way Donald Trump does and may be the father of a gay son it does not mean all healthy men would want to. Even if they do because they are bisexual the desire for the same sex would not disappear. This is so well known now I can say “google it” and pick the answers from a non profit, non religious, educational or health organization.
Sexual attraction happens in the brain not in the sex organs., Im sure you have seen someone gorgeous getting married or dating someone with really bad physical looks.

I feel I need to post this story but the way the media has been posting about it makes me feel bad and unable to just repost because we lost two human beings in their prime because of their bad judgement, unprofessional behavior, stupid relationship with a young man full of testosterone going through the usual growing pains of growing up gay and knowing it. The death penalty was not the proper punishment.

There are some other kids that have said the couple got close to them but I read nothing factual to that and we know for sure that most if not all the parents were interrogating all the male kids to see if they were molested, kissed, held, went to the pool or are themselves gay by their parents. Meaning other non factual stories were bound to come out.

What ever kids this couple was friends with feel, will now be scarred more for this couple death’s than their friendship with them was, as improper it might have been..They have their lives for the couple doesn’t.  This couple did not turn against each other which is usually what happens in cases with two defendants. They faced death together because in their bad judgement death was better than what they thought was waiting for them even if they could fight it.

What would you do if accused? What would you do if you are friends with guys which are still young enough but older to be your father and you are under 18 and they want to see you naked or touch you?

*Other boys described being plied with alcohol and marijuana at Babbitt’s and Deyo’s home, Babbitt’s family cabin and Deyo’s parents’ farm before “it got weird.”

Videos show Babbitt filming himself masturbating in a school bathroom and in his empty classroom, near a student’s desk.

Text messages between the two men revealed the planning that went into their abuse of the boys.

Babbitt, referencing a boy staying overnight, texted Deyo: “Make sure the alarm clock [containing the hidden camera] ends up somewhere good. I was going to surprise (victim) with hot tub … in case it improves chances of skinny dip.”

In another text message, Deyo asked Babbitt, “Should I be expecting a scantily clad 40 yo and (victim) to give me some hugs and kisses this weekend? I just want to be able to hug and snuggle (victim) for a couple mins without (victim) feeling awkward.”

Babbitt responded by texting, “You just need to grab him and make (victim) sit on your lap every once in awhile.”

“Outlasting the Gay Revolution” spells out eight principles to help Americans with conservative moral values counter attacks on our freedoms of religion, speech and conscience by homosexual activists.

Even as police were conducting their search of the pair’s home, Babbitt and Deyo were planning to flee the St. Paul area. On Aug. 16, the men drained their bank accounts, purchased $860 in camping gear on a credit card and went on the run.

The couple was found dead on Aug. 25 on a beach on Lopez Island in northwest Washington state, having died the previous day in a shotgun murder-suicide, ruled the local coroner. Deyo killed Babbitt before turning the weapon on himself, according to the report.

They left a note on the dashboard of their car describing their time on the run as the “vacation of a lifetime,” and saying it “brought great peace to end it on Lopez.”

A suicide note mailed to Deyo’s parents said that some would characterize the pair as monsters, but they were not. Calling the accusations against them “too great to overcome,” it said they had decided to “choose our own destinies rather than experience the embarrassment, ridicule, hatred and inevitable loss of freedom that the justice system would give.”

South St. Paul schools Superintendent Dave Webb said Tuesday that the district is providing grief and mental-health counseling for students and staff, as well as offering training for staff on trauma, mental health and early warning signs related to sexual abuse.

“As a school district, we strive to provide a safe and secure learning environment for our students,” Webb said.*

Josh Duggar of ’19 Kids’ very Moral and Anti gay Turns to be Sexually Inmoral

Josh Duggar  and the kids in the reality show 19 kids counting. Now reports show Josh a very anti gay Republican moral person is very  immoral

Before I take you to this story being reported yesterday  by the sub main press, today with the main press. I waited on this because I wanted to verify and and find out more about this character who happens to be popular because of a  TV program. I am going to give you  quotes from him on his twitter or other avenues which Josh sponsors. I want you to see for yourself that he considers himself a very moral guy and gays and liberals as very immoral and trying to destroy the fabric of the Republic:
  • Gina Miller says there is a "war being waged by the militant homosexual movement, which is tyrannical at its heart.  The forcing on society of perverse sexual behavior is part of the Marxist Left’s campaign to destroy the moral foundations of the United States."
  • Scott Walker was recently in Washington, D.C., where he met with leaders of the Susan B. Anthony List and Concerned Women for America.
  • Travis Weber of the Family Research Council calls for "legislation to be passed at the federal level and the state level around the country protecting people who support traditional marriage from the government, from the government discriminating against them, intruding into their affairs and penalizing them because of their beliefs.”
  • Finally, the researchers who debunked Mark Regnerus' anti-gay parenting study say that "if he were one of my students I’d make him redo the paper."

Josh Duggar, Mark Regnerus, Gina Miller

Now the breaking news about this sexual child molester:

The hit TLC show “19 Kids and Counting” shows the Duggars as a wholesome and religious family, but a report Tuesday claims Josh Duggar was allegedly involved in an underage sex scandal. The exclusive report by In Touch Weekly says that Jim Bob, Josh's father, turned him in to authorities. The charge dates back to 2005 and occurred when Josh was a minor himself, according to “multiple sources” who saw the police report.

Jim Bob called the Arkansas State Police Department after he discovered Josh left a young girl’s bedroom and “learned something inappropriate happened,” an insider said, according to the magazine. “I saw and read the report and it clearly stated that Jim Bob brought his son Josh into the Arkansas State Police and spoke to a state trooper about Josh’s involvement in alleged inappropriate touching with a minor,” a different person added.
Josh Duggar was not prosecuted.

Sgt. Darrel Hignite, the officer who reportedly led the investigation, would not give a statement about the case. “I can’t comment or discuss [this case] because of the sensitive nature and because it involved a juvenile,” he said, according to In Touch Weekly.  (There are unconfirmed reports that the original officer who took the report was himself investigated as a child molester and no longer with the force. It remains unconfirmed because the police wont talk).

“A technicality prevented any further action,” a source told In Touch Weekly. “That’s been the biggest regret in all of this.”

Jim Bob Duggar waited more than a year after his son, Josh, confessed to sexually molesting several female minors before contacting police, In Touch Magazine is reporting exclusively, based on information contained in the official police report.
What’s more, Jim Bob informed the elders of his church about Joshua’s actions and they waited three months before contacting authorities. The explosive new information is contained in a Springdale, AK police report obtained by In Touch magazine.
The report has been hidden since 2006 and was just obtained by the mag through a Freedom of information Act request. Jim Bob also refused to allow police to interview Josh when they opened a felony investigation in 2006. The Duggars star on TLC’s hit show 19 Kids and Counting
In Touch magazine first broke the news of the Duggars’ underage sexual molestation scandal in this week’s magazine. (Note: Josh’s name is redacted from the police report but In Touch has confirmed the passages that refer to him.)
Other bombshells in the police report are: Josh Duggar was investigated for multiple sex offenses — including forcible fondling — against five minors. Some of the alleged offenses investigated were felonies. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar were interview by the Springdale Police department on Dec. 12, 2006. The report says that James told police he was alerted in March, 2002 by a female minor that Josh — who turned 14-years-old that month — had been touching her breasts and genitals while she slept. This allegedly happened on multiple occasions. In 2006, Jim Bob told police that in July, 2002 Josh admitted to fondling a minor’s breasts while she slept. “James said that they disciplined (redacted, Josh) after this incident.” The family did not alert authorities.
Jim Bob told police that about nine months later in March, 2003 “there was another incident.” Josh was again accused by a female minor of touching her breasts and genitals. Josh was accused by several minors of touching their genitals, often when they slept, but at times when they were awake.
Jim Bob then “met with the elders of his church and told them what was going on.” No one alerted the police or any other law enforcement agency. Instead they decided to send Josh to a “program [that] consisted of hard physical work and counseling. James said that [redacted, Josh] was in the program from March 17, 2003 until July 17, 2003.”
He said the program was a “Christian program.” Michelle Duggar later admitted to police that Josh did not receive counseling and instead had been sent during that time to a family friend who was in the home remodeling business.
Asked about the training center that Jim Bob said Josh was sent to, Michelle told police, according to the report, “it was not really a training center. Det. [Darrell] Hignite asked if the guy [redacted, Josh] talked to was a certified counselor. She said no. She said it was a guy they know in Little Rock that is remodeling a building. Det. Hignite asked if the guy was more of a mentor. She said “kind of.”
The Duggars told police that Josh “apologized” to the female minors and that they had “forgiven” him.
An alleged victim told police in 2006 that Josh had told “mother and dad what had happened… (and) asked for forgiveness." The report notes the alleged victim says Josh “sought after God and had turned back to God.
Jim Bob told police that “several members of their church were aware of the situation and had been supportive of the family.”
Police interviewed several of the alleged minor victims in December, 2006. They told police that Josh had touched their breasts and sex organs.
Jim Bob told police in 2006 that when Josh returned home in 2003, Jim Bob, accompanied by some of his church elders, took Josh to Arkansas State Trooper, Jim Hutchens. Jim Bob knew Hutchens personally. Hutchens did not take any official action and instead gave Josh a “very stern talk.” As In Touch magazine reports exclusively in this week’s issue, Hutchens is now serving 56-years in prison for child pornography. He took no action on the Duggar case.
The Duggars told police that at the time Josh was accused of, and admitting to, these sexual acts, “a family friend aware of what had happened had written down in a letter what he knew of [redacted, Josh’s] actions…That letter had been placed in a book and had subsequently been forgotten about. Just recently [in 2006] the book had been loaned to someone else with the letter in it and another person discovered the letter.
The Duggars refused to tell police who wrote the letter and who found it.
When the family was scheduled to appear on Oprah Winfrey’s talk show in 2006, an email was sent to the show warning them about the alleged molestation. The email was written by a 61-year-old female who is not identified.
Harpo Studios faxed the letter to the Department of Human Services hotline. The report was then opened for investigation, leading to the investigation by Springdale police.
When police asked Jim Bob to bring Josh in for an interview in 2006, he attempted to hire a lawyer and refused to produce his son for questioning. At least two lawyers refused to take his case. “Det. Hignite received a voice mail from Mr. Duggar stating that [redacted] had hired an attorney and would not be coming in for an interview.”
In Touch magazine broke the story of Josh Duggar’s dark past in the issue currently on sale. The magazine obtained the police report, hidden since 2006, through a Freedom of Information Act request.
Police had to abandon pursuing charges because the [then] three-year statute of limitations had expired.
The alleged victims all described a consistent scenario of Josh touching their breasts and genitals and later apologizing. They said Jim Bob was aware of the situation and did not go to authorities for more than a year.
