President Donald Trump has signed an executive order seeking to eliminate the Department of Education, falsely claiming that it will improve student outcomes by returning the control of its main functions to states. LGBTQ+ advocacy groups denounced his order for the harm it will inflict on marginalized students. His order will likely face legal challenges and will need congressional support to enact officially.

His Thursday signing of the executive order was attended by a group of Republican governors as well as Tiffany Justice, founder of Moms for Liberty, a so-called “parents’ rights” group that has been designated as an anti-LGBTQ+ extremist group by the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Why Trump Offered no details about closing the debt of Education.

1. The Education Dept was created by Congress and only Congress can dismantle it.

2. The Ed. Dept has been fully funded and they are running on that money which only congress        

     appropriated.    

3. The Department of Ed will continue to run

4.  The only problem is all the staff that have retired or fired or laid off. Which means they will be running with three wheels instead of four. it will become difficult for those people to do their jobs. But the Dept will go on until congress dismantles and right now Congress does not have the votes. In the senate they need 60 votes and the Dems are not going to help out destroy that dept.

You don't know what is true or what is BS because he forgets he does not make the laws and he can abolish programs that have been enacted by Congress.
