Two Promises kept
One: New York Gay Marriage Fight
The blog has put out continuous information on gay marriage, politicians saying no and the one keeping the promise. Governor Cuomo knew that was a promise he will keep and he was more trusting than anybody else that he was in control and the Republicans and Democrats on unsafe districts would come along. Adamfoxie*kept the vigil and kept the numbers coming.
The majority of the opposition came from the Bronx and Brooklyn, it was on Jesus Christ’s grounds. They talked like the Lord himself had spoken to them something that Christ never did against Gays. Amazing to see Christians go against Christ’s words. A pastor in the Bronx one day will have to see the light and see souls not sinners. But in spite of these people, justice was done.

In NYS the law was passed and it was wonderful. So proud to live here and be called a Gay New Yorker. New Yorkers are fair, just present them the case with facts and witnesses and they will see your case and give out justice.
The second promise was to keep adamfoxie servicing until we reached a million viewers if it had enough readership to continue. This was hard but kept things moving. Adamfoxie* always has. It was a good challenge to look every single day for stories that needed more input or where not to be broadly published.
The stories had to be fresh as in cool, not canned, just arrived. It had to be current, as being a topic of the day or one that should be. It had to be provocative as when a son tells his mom he is gay or when we see a US senator voting against gays and calling them homosexuals with a sound of displeasure, the senator being gay himself and almost as queeny as Divine we call him Sen. Graham of South Carolina. Against repealing don’t ask don’t tell and always on the side his Republican peers in the Senate and the House that used to call us the worse names. As provocative when we cover the death of a citizen on the hands of a lone policeman who had him handcuffed and subdued sitting on the ground He arrested him on charges that this Bank Exec showed him his dick in the men’s bathroom. The family has suffered a lot but they received a settlement because bloggers like us kept the story alive. A settlement that wont replaced the son to his mother or bring back his reputation even after death for now only. But the cop was not able to arrest nobody else nor shoot another gay person which was his favorite jolt to visit men’s rooms and come up withs sex charges against guys either cruising or taking a pee in a urinal in a park in New Jersey. The family does not want to talk about this so we keep the names out.
By bringing worldwide attention when a gay New Yorker or a gay from anywhere are assaulted in hate crimes we the bloggers and the media makes it more difficult for it to go unnoticed by the police like used to be. When the past police commissioner in New York put together an anti porno task force (at the time New York had an all time high on the homeless, but had the money to go after men that buy porno which is legal) frisky homophobic cops that looked gay themselves going to bars and peep show sellers of porno and arresting whomever inside or the out side on the sidewalk just looked at them. They were confident that these guys were married and closeted. They were right but as soon as some of them got so pissed enough to tell their story we and others were on top of it. The past Mayor eventually asked the commissioner to disband the cutie homophobic cops task force. You can see what we posted is on the record for ever!

The publisher has had helped and has worked alone. But the blog has been published every day! Now the blog take holidays off, weekends off and goes with less stories but still publishing with those three things: Fresh, Current, Provocative. Publishing if anything happens that is not being covered or we have another angle to it. If an impacting story is being covered by all the media and every view point is been published, adamfoxie* will look someplace else to publish. Adamfoxie* does not want to compete or drop some sand on the beach. As a matter of fact it is important that we bring up someone being beaten in Moscow or somewhere in North Africa instead because no one knows about those things. We have right here in Staten Island the Ferguson case. Have looked at that tape over and over and there was not reason to sofocate that man on the ground…..You already got him down, why the chokehold?I guess they teach the cops to choke a man when he is down so he wont..do what? Resist? he is down…..oh the screaming most’ve bother someone….but he was saying he can’t breathe. I have seen the police take someone down, handcuffed the guy and get him up again for the ride. This time it was wrong. Get me the guy selling the heroin not a guy trying to make ends meet selling cigarettes. What has happened to people that don’t see that?

This dream came true but there still so much that has to happen and some of us are giving the driving wheel to the new generation of men and women that want equality. You don’t have to be gay to want this, as a matter of fact if we didn’t have the straight population getting behind us, we would still be listening to be people like Sen Graham and others speak of gays as if we were missing something in our humanity by being gay.
