The Silence of the Lambs or Broke Back Mountain: Obama-Putin

Just riding this horse topless, NBD.

Russian President Vladimir Putin wasn't kidding about cracking down on LGBT rights. On Sunday, four Dutch filmmakers were arrested under the country's new "gay propaganda" law. Signed by Putin on June 30 after passing unanimously in the State Duma, the measure bans both private and public expressions of support for gay rights deemed to be accessible to minors and prescribes fines of up to 100,000 rubles ($3,000) for violations. The filmmakers, who came to the country earlier this month to shoot a documentary about gay life in Murmansk, were taken into custody after police went through their footage and found an interview with a 17-year-old gay man (a minor under Russian law). While the foursome was fined for visa violations and let go, it is the first instance of the anti-gay law being enforced against visitors to the country.

The gay blogosphere and international human-rights organizations have closely watched Russia's crusade against the gay community. However, it has generated little response in either the mainstream media or in official foreign-policy channels, as pointed out in a New York Times editorial yesterday. Instead, the media has focused on whether passage of the law will affect athletes at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia; the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has expressed"concern" about the treatment of  athletes during the games but is forging forward with its plans.

While German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle has condemned the anti-gay "propaganda" law, most of the international community has been equally silent on LGBT-rights abuses in Russia.
I am shock that after Obama made such so much noise about Snowden. Now that was to be expected. What was not to be expected was the way they went about. They cut all avenues of Snowden traveling without being intercepted and leaving Russia.  Now Snowden it seems has been given to Putin. No more noise and he seems he will be staying there until he empty his mind or or find out where are the secrets accounts where he keeps the best of the information.. What is Putin ’s Birthday. Oh don’t think so. It was people reacting tog this event and not knowing the results of their handleling of those events. Snowden thanks to the US ended in the worse place he could have been. Snowden wen to Russia because he knew the US could not send some CIA spy’s and flying him out of. there and agent 007 is got the case of gaut, so he was unavailable for this mission. When I look at this situation it reminds me of the comics I use to read as a kid.. Now is all Silence!

What is also silence is Obama on how Putin is turn on the gays in the country. He also has the Orthodox on his side  ( Laugh inducing joke) Before Putin took office
this church with guys that wear more jewelry than the pope had as much political power than the Jehovah Witness in the US. Now Putin need the morality back up and how gays are not inlcuded on that click, so he needs a church that just like him with no morality. He feels he needs the church to either blame or to give him cover. So Morality and the Orthodox Church with Putin’s KGB morality is a word they hear but they don’t know what it means, but it does sound good. The dirtiest politicians in the US from a local running for mayor of New york City,AnthonyWeiner to The Speaker of the House of  Representatives in Congress. They use the word but they have a confusing meaning of what it is.

Barack Obama's impressive physique is the talk of the web, after he became the latest world leader to be photographed without a shirt.

Morality and Putin following the script of the nazis and the jews by persecuting and blaming a race of people for problems in the country. Their power base is confusion, war and people too busy fighting each to take them government on.

Obama need to start remembering things in his speeches. It does nothing for the presidency and history for him to be talking about gays as human beings with with equal human and civil rights and then with nations but particularly with Russia he is tight lipped. Has he used all his capital on Snowden and loosing the game he is now shy? I don’t know and all we can do is to guess what we see and don’t hear is very bothersome. History will remember the President who spoke eloquently about human rights at home but never bother to bring it up to the world. What a shame Mr. President. As for Putin with his chested exposed like Weiner in NY divorcing his wife of a few decades and all of a sudden  threatened by gays? Here in the west we call that a “closet” case. or a “ Mehlman"…look it up
