[Everyone laughs.] No, I’m being serious! The Out NYC has not shown a profit yet.”… This is Ian Reisner …Rich owner with his husband Mati Weiderpass of the Pines at Fire Island, Out NYC etc. and financial supporter of Ted Cruz who is afraid of gays marrying the farm animals if they are allowed marriage.
It is the first week of June now and soon summer. Summer when droves of gays go to Fire Island and stay, eat and drink at the Pines. The Pines a property just bought by multi millionaires speculators and real estate flippers and developers. The couple Im referring are Ian Reisner and Mati Weiderpass.

The GOP who moderates their language to say that marriage should be left to the states but work to have the states pass amendments to the state’s constitutions to negate marriage to others than one man and one woman even if in death row.

Ted Cruz believes in the constitution and will swear to enforce it after he changes it to admit him to be a president. Now for a president that happens to be black born and raised in the state of Hawaii that is not enough. Some have use excuses as far out as saying Hawaii is not a real state because “is full of Japs and Philippines.) Any excuse to drag a black democrat President through the mud.
I will not concentrate on Ted Cruz because you all have plenty of chance to hear and read about this man. The people I want you to meet are a couple of gay guys that have been in the news lately, married by the laws we helped enforced without their help because they have been on the Republican side opposing marriage as I hope you know the Ultra Rich do not need laws to get married. That might even hurt them in their taxes with some. What ever benefits they wish their law firms will handle for them.
I’ll start telling you how infamous it was that somebody who says he adheres drugs and drug users died in that same apartment from a drug overdose. His name was Sean and Im sure Sean was the only one to visit there to do his drugs. No doubt.

*A 23-year-old Brooklyn man died of an apparent drug overdose after he was found unconscious in the morning in a bathtub in hotelier Ian Reisner’s penthouse apartment on Central Park South, police said.
Sean Verdi, of Bay Ridge, was rushed from 230 Central Park South to Saint Luke’s Hospital after Reisner called 911 about 8:20 a.m., police sources said. He died at 9:03 a.m.
The death appeared to be a drug overdose, a police source said. The Medical Examiner will conducted an autopsy the following day and confirmed the drug overdose.
Investigators do not believe that any criminality was involved, police said. At least one friend who was with Verdi told cops that Verdi had taken cocaine and molly, but no drugs were found at the apartment, they just disappeared into Sean’s.
Verdi was graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, N.J., just that May. He majored in bioengineering and was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity.

*“I can’t believe this; my wife’s in shock,” Verdi’s father, Steven Colandrea, told the Daily News.Verdi met Reisner previously in clubland, his father said. Verdi was a manager at Bar-Tini Ultra Lounge in Hell's Kitchen, his father said. It was from Bar-Tini that Verdi, Reisner and two friends left to go to Reisner’s pad, Colandrea said, citing information that he said cops told him.When Verdi became physically distressed, Reisner and one of the two friends put him into the shower and then the bathtub, apparently in an effort to revive him, Colandrea said, once again citing information that he said came from cops.“What was Sean doing in the bathtub?” the father questioned, dumbfounded.
Actually It was not clear if Reisner made the call to 911 as soon as Verdi became ill or after the effort to revive him failed. Colandrea owns Colandrea’s New Corner, an Italian restaurant on 8th Avenue in Bay Ridge that his family established in 1936. He said his son was the fourth generation of the family to work in the establishment, an experience that gave him an interest in one day setting off on his own in the hospitality industry — he talked of buying Bar-Tini one day.“He was a great kid,” the father said. “He loved people. He loved the club atmosphere.”Reisner, a former managing director with Bank of America, co-founded Parkview Developers in 2003. He is best known for creating the boutique gay hotel OUT NYC in Hell’s Kitchen. He could not be reached for comment.In May of last year, Reisner was arrested after he side-swiped a parked car in East Hampton, L.I., and fled the scene, according to Easthamptonstar.com, many said he was drunk and had to flee to avoid DWI He was charged with driving while ability impaired. No criminality involved? How about they were all using hard drugs? Who supplied the drugs to the young man who died - was it Reisner? Or the other guy? Or someone at the bar? Was this a drug-fueled gay hookup gone horribly wrong? If this had been some young girl OD'ing at a music festival, the cops most certainly wouldn't say "no criminality suspected," in fact they wouldn't stop until they'd found and arrested the supplier. When Philip Seymour Hoffman died of a heroin overdose in the Village, the NYPD went all out to trace the suppliers and make arrests. But a young man dies of an overdose in the bathtub of an ultra-rich hotel tycoon and the NYPD says "no criminality suspected." What a crock. I wonder how many strings were pulled (or palms greased). The apartment where Sean died is the apartment where the anti gay senator came to pick up his donation check from a couple made ultra rich by the money of all gays but manly your average Joe. The money was not earn producing a tangible product that employs thousands but a hospitality industry for gays. Gays was their market. The money in their bank mostly said gay on them. This is from where the money came from, “you.” This money now given to the people to fight “You, your civil rights.” Wether is to find yourself in the street when the landlord flips your building and a new rent comes in 2 or 3 higher than you pay, thanks to the flipping loophole on the rent laws of NYC, cut there by a multi billionaire mayor to help his dining pals or to repay a favor. Not even sure he knew the damage this would do to the regular New Yorker renting in the city. But maybe he knew, he wanted a beautiful New York with a limited number of middle class or lower class people.
The purpose in keeping this story alive is because the people like Ian and Mati are the poster boys for people in their class, regardless of gay or straight. Yes there are exceptions thank goodness which is what keeps the world on its axis. . The guys first tried to excuse this episode on them not knowing Ted Cruz position on gays, I guess because they live in a bubble and it was the first time they give money to a Republican also anti gay. That was too stupid to be believable. Because behind the act of giving money to those that become very powerful or are powerful is one call and ask for an exception like the hole on NYC renting law to help them out.

The donors makes the impression to be in line to ask for that favor that will make them more money. That happvery day. What doesn’t happen every day is the successor part of an oppressed group to go against their owns group to secure favors. Usually they give to the party behind the group and still the favors will come but at least they are not coming from your own group blood. If you don’t understand that, you should never vote and you should never try to make change out of a dollar.
