What Happens When The LGBTQ Abusers Are The Law Enforcers?
I have been posting every week of the abuse on the gay community that pops on the internet and paper media. I’ve said that this problem is not complicated because we know where it comes from, why and who is doing what to whom. One factor I left out, knowing in my own mind with past interactions with the cops and how you are treated when you they realize they are dealing with a gay person. My last encounter which I posted was back in 2009-10 when my car was vandalized by a couple of ignorant haters. I call them ignorant because I was called to witness what they were doing and then they were proud of showing their faces. Though it was easy for the hate task force to find them even though it took a year to get the second one I was please they got caught, but almost I ended being the victim twice. Let me tell you a little bit of it and may be it would serve for something. I don’t like talking about this, it makes me very angry. I’m using what I posted then because I have no recall (on purpose) of this incident.
Through these series of circumstances of being asked to call 911 if I saw the perps, Which is what I did since there were warrants issued and order of protection issued for me against them, I felt like things were running along. One day I called the cops when I saw one of them and ended up in handcuffs. Placed in handcuffs and I was being taken out of my own building by this cocky cop who didn’t like me and was going to do his thing and the rest of the cops with him would just follow along like puppies without asking any questions or making any inquiries or objections of what was going on. I was saved by the security guard of my building who told them who I was even though they were too busy dealing with this faggot (me) to listen and at least give me the benefit of the doubt. They(he)back down when he heard the story. The story is juicier and should be arrogantly bothersome to any person who wants law and order. It’s very painful for me to repeat what I already have said today, even though I posted the whole story when it happened I feel I need to repeat some of it. This was 2009 and I had just started blogging.
The incident with my car was classified as a “hate crime” and the hate crimes squad had given me directions of what to do if I saw the perps. Well not everyone was on the loop on those instructions.
I knew of the way I was treated and heard how others had been treated to know that the police in this city are part of the problem. You can’t sponge out a problem like gay bashing when a good part of the force you use are homophobes themselves; particularly in areas that are not close to Manhattan like Staten Island, Bend Stuy and the Bronx. My only guess is that they send the worse of the force to areas in which they don’t expect the citizens being abused to follow through, which is really impossible to bring action against a cop without a lawyer or a politician.
I knew what to do when these incident happened, I thought. I even tried to have a State House Rep.Titone help with the area commander to obtained any report that might have been written and find out who the cops where. This representative is gay and could have been a non english speaking russian.
Not even to return call to sy I can’t help you buddy! or reply to my story as taken by his aide in his office by sending Im sorry dude but dont F* with the cops. He knew it had to do with the police and that’s very difficult, he said when I confronted him a community violence forum, which was televised. It was the office of the President of the city council who responded to an email to her. Christine Quinn. She assigned one of her staffers (Erik) which now works for Gov. Cuomo, to help in anything I needed.
These three LGBT men involved in this altercation with New York police officers in the Bedford-Stuyvesant area of Brooklyn June 3 break my heart because even if you don’t know the story, the treatment that the first individual arrested who needed medical treatment should tell you something. We have seen on the news Tv murderers being arrested without being beaten and pepper sprayed while in handcuffs. I felt sorry for the guys asking for a name and badge number on the cops when that is an excuse for the cops to arrest you for harassment.
Do you think that this billionaire mayor knows about these things? I don’t even know if the commissioner is aware of the rogue cops he has which is the majority of the force. I don’t think so. If he does know and does nothing he is as rogue as them. I don’t think that this rogue cop behavior is something taught in the academy. This is something like a virus that spreads from the top officers on down.
I needed to repeat part of this story and say that this episode will get lost in about 30 days and these guys will be dealing with the system that will impose high fines and jail unless they drop the whole thing.
I posted over the weekend on the section ‘Documentary’ section of this blog up above, 10 ways to deal with cops. It’s a video made by experts in the field of civilians being arrested. One of the worse things these guys did was say that everything was on film. If you do they will confiscate it for you. You have to have a good film, don’t argue, don’t curse, don’t ask for badges. You have to let the situation run it’s coarse and pick up the pieces latter. If the cops got it wrong and they wont believe you loosing your cool is bad. Once they put the handcuffs on you (unlike me) you will be arrested, processed and jailed. You need to fight as little charges a possible. These guys will lie and throw everything from resisting arrest to spitting on a cop. Just because you are a law abiding citizen does not mean your word is better than a cop’s. You need video, witness and stay cool, cool! If you have a record, dont F* with them you got no recourse, you will loose.
Next time in the polls never vote for a billionaire for anything, unless you are one. Particularly for mayor
you need someone you can make an appointment with or write a letter to and have an incident with a city worker investigated.
