Stupid Said Stupid Says Again: Josh Thomson

(his social media postings)

UFC Lightweight Josh Thomson responds to the controversy his social media comments on gay marriage created.

Yesterday top UFC lightweight contender Josh Thomson used social media to poll fans with what turned out to be a controversial and thought provoking topic.ith organizations fighting for legalized polygamy and the North American Man/Boy Love Association (http://NAMBLA.ORG) fighting for rights of their own, the line between equality and controversy becomes very thin. Mr. Thomson was merely giving extreme examples of very real movements in our country but he in no way meant to isolate the gay community in a negative manner.
The subject of gay rights, including gay marriage, is sensitive for many people and Mr. Thomson fully supports equality for all human beings.
The statements made by Mr. Thomson were intended to provoke thought on some of the bigger issues that come up when people start to fight not only for equality but for more off-the-wall rights often frowned upon by society.
"I am not against gay rights or gay marriage in anyway," stated Thomson. "My comments were completely taken out of context by some members of the media and I have since removed them out of respect for anyone who may have been offended. It was not my intention to offend or hurt anyone."
adamfoxie*blog responds:

Thomson which has received numerous hits to the head could not, cannot make a difference with an adult having sex with a consenting adult and a pedophile. He also
is not able to comprehend or is aware of, that young people even before puberty can become aware that they have an attraction to other boys but not their dad.

Those are facts that most people with a normal IQ and even a lower one understand because they are different issues.  This is a big world and anybody that likes to do anything, from eating human beings like we have seen in the news lately to get marriage to a duck. There also homeless people out there that would not want to stay in a home even if you offered them a castle.

That is the world and it has nothing to do with human rights. Human rights are those rights specified in the Magna Carta and the Constitution of the United States in a lesser form.

That is easy to comprehend that you do not put all the issues of the wold in one lump because they don’t belong there. Everything has it’s reason yet not all reasons are reasonable. (At this point Thomsom’s head is spiraling out of control because that he never thought of..those things)
Thinking it seems to me is not for everyone, Mr. Thomson included.
