Tom Hardy Had Sex with a Guy and Indulged in Crack

He may now be regarded as one of the sexiest men in the world, as well as a uniquely versatile actor, but things didn't always look so good for Tom Hardy.

According to The Sun he admitted that as a teen and young adult he went wildly off the rails, indulging in hard drugs, including crack, drinking binges and experimenting to get away from his middle class upbringing,

 discussing his problems in an interview with the paper.

The star, currently starring as Bane in 'The Dark Knight Rises', said: “I grew up

 around people carriers and cardigans and the deer in Richmond Park, 

but behind those Laura Ashley curtains there are a lot of demons."

He spoke of how he lost his way as a youngster, and that he is lucky 

his life didn't turn out very differently, admitting: “I went entirely off the rails

 and I’m lucky I didn’t have some terrible accident or end up in prison or dead,

 because that’s where I was going."

He also spoke of how he found intoxicants calming, adding: “I was a very adrenal kid.

 I ran on my feelings — and there was a lot of fear. When I found drinking at 13 — 

a bit of beer — I felt calm. I thought this must be how everyone else feels, 

and I wanted more of it. “But then I became a drunk, a f***ing drunk, man!”

On experimenting sexually he said: “Of course I have. I’m an actor, for f***’s sake,” 

adding: "I’ve played with everything and everyone. I love the form and the physicality. 

But now that I’m in my 30s it doesn’t do it for me. I’m done experimenting but there’s

 plenty of stuff in a relationship with another man, especially gay men, that I need in 

my life"

After he spent time in rehab he went on to become an actor, progressing to become 

one of the biggest stars in the world. He's now settled down, become a father and is engaged to fellow thespian Charlotte Riley.
