Why Are We Paying Attention to a Chicken Homophobic Company’Chick-fil-a?'

Some people are asking,  if many in the gay community knew for years about 'Chick fil-a' position on LGTB's, what is new now. Why the fuzz?

1. Straights did not know it.  Since the Millions Moms Org is boycotting JC Penney, Oreos(General Mills) and others, the LGTB community has decided to defend it self by highlighting to our community, family and friends any company that boasts about how is ok to discriminate against us,  or attack us in any way. Dan Cathy did when he came out      with an executive, business irresponsible statement,  of what his company might be against, which is only us. This was an opportunity in the new found support that we are getting to let people know like we have in the past with much success, of what this company is been doing since its inception.

2. Mr. Cathy did something stupid and irresponsible, we will be also be stupid and irresponsible if we just put our tail between our legs and run. We don’t run anymore. We can’t face everything that is wrong and thrown against us, but like in any war we prioritize in what we fight. We don’t have an unlimited amount of fighters and weapons. We need to concentrate on what are priorities are.  Commerce, which we help keep rolling by our patronage and by our sweat by working there, is a high priority.  Since the days of Rosa Park when the blacks refused to used the buses, they realized that after all,  the whites where not enough to keep the system going. The blacks not using the system was a major blow to the bigot city transit company.

3. Its been too long a time we have let this company fly under the radar of everybody, knowing what we know about them and the amount of money they give to the so called family orgs. that fight gay abortions and gay marriage. Millions$!  It’s about time we put the spot light on them and this is the right time; When a major national corporation feel like putting out a statement like Mr. Cathy did.  Actually the homophobic companies out there hide that fact and do not want people to know because they know it will cost them money. Mr. Cathy, like many in his religion the main thing after making money on us is to fight us, because they find us ugly to be attracted to our own sex.  In many of these cases it has nothing to do with the bible. If it was so, they would follow the bible.  No, it’s personal of how they perceive us to be. Weird, different, not conforming to their own religious ideas.
Abuse comes in many forms. Any victim of it knows it well and it’s not always physical.  This company has abused us by giving money to the people that fight for laws to makes us invisible since they can’t make us illegal anymore. But besides giving, they come and say we give because we are against U! We are against U! because we believe in the family. We believe in the family in biblical terms…….now that one I need someone with biblical knowledge explain to me how we are not. How my friend Wayne and His partner Sal with kids that they have raised, how they are not a biblical family?
