Funeral plans are pending for child star Gary Coleman.  Dion Mial has come forward and says he was named executor of the late actor's estate in a 1999 will, reports USA Today.

The first scheduled funeral was canceled as his parents and ex-wife battled over custody of hisbody.

The funeral director organizing the event in Utah revealed that the service – originally scheduled for this weekend – was no longer taking place. Blake Yates, from Memorial Estates in Utah, would give no more information about the cancellation – but Coleman’s agent confirmed that it was due to a family feud.

While Coleman’s ex-wife, Shannon Price, wants the actor’s final resting place to be in Utah, his parentswant his body returned to his place of birth in Zion, Illinois.

Coleman died aged 42 on May 28, following a brain hemorrhage caused by a fall at his home two days earlier.

Price came under fire after she made the decision to turn off his life support machine, despite no longer being his wife, but the hospital said the actorhad given written permission for his ex to make medical decisions on his behalf.
