Draconian is the Label for The NYS Budget. Wonder How this Will Impact My Readers?

The State Budget is going thru it's final stages of posturing, but not fighting. The state, but particularly the City of Ny is bracing for draconian cuts.
While Paterson squabbled with lawmakers in Albany, the City Council passed its new $63 billion budget by a 48-to-1 vote, with a day to spare and with a minimum of fuss.
The new city budget includes some painful trims, though it doesn't include the Draconian service cuts Mayor Bloomberg threatened several months ago.
Still, up to 30 senior centers across the city could be shuttered and library funding was whacked by $16 million.
The slashes at the book barns will likely force the city's three independent library systems to scale back to a five-day service week, down from the current six days.
I decided to post this article because as we move from July into the end of summer, unless the economy in MY improves, you will have thousands of workers put out of their jobs. That will include teachers and government workers in every level except for police and fire dept.
I was wondering about anyone making comments to this. Keeping in mind that what ever is posted here, that is not sign by 'adfoxie' are the opinions of the person making the comments. Comments will appear only  after a check for spam.
