The "Two and a Half Men" star will plead no contest to misdemeanor assault Monday in Aspen and get 30 days in county jail under a plea deal in his domestic violence case, multiple outlets reported Tuesday.LOS ANGELES - Actor Charlie Sheen is ready for his lock up.
He chose the pokey over a probation-only deal because his handlers worried two years was too long for Hollywood's bad boy to keep his nose completely clean, TMZ reported.
"With good behavior, he could end up doing 15 or so days," a source told People.com.
Sheen, 44, was arrested Christmas Day on suspicion he pinned wife Brooke Mueller, 32, to a bed and held a knife to her throat.
He was charged Feb. 8 with felony menacing, misdemeanor third-degree assault and misdemeanor criminal mischief. He and Mueller both entered rehab programs later that month.
"Brooke is 100% behind Charlie in whatever decision he makes," Mueller's lawyer Yale Gallanter told the Daily News Tuesday. "She has always wanted the charges against Charlie dismissed. She wants to put this behind her."
Gallanter declined comment on the state of the couple's marriage and reports they plan to file for divorce once the criminal case is resolved.
"They've had a tough go since December," he said. "When all is said and done next week in Aspen, we'll be able to comment a lot further."
Sheen recently signed on for another two seasons of "Two and a Half Men."
