Mormons Reportedly Baptized President Jefferson 150 After Death

 Mormons reportedly 'seal' Jefferson, Hemings

 

President Thomas Jefferson is known for many things—among them, fathering several children with one of his slaves, Sally Hemings (read about the scandal). And while the couple was never married in life, and also were not members of the Mormon faith, they were reportedly 'married' and 'baptized' more than 150 years after their death, through a Mormon ritual called 'proxy sealing' (See a list of famous Mormons).
