Sex in Public Places..Do You? You are Not Alone

If you've had a quickie in public; either in the back of a car, a dark nightclub, a photo-booth, the bedroom department of Ikea, you're not alone in having enjoyed that slight thrill of the possibility of being caught. In fact, public sex is a lot more common than you think.

According to a recent survey conducted by sex toy company Adam & Eve, after questioning 1000 adults over the age of 18, 52% admitted to having sex in public. The top three locations for getting it on in public are parked cars with 80%, the woods with 55%, and a park with 44%.

 

Coming in at the rear (ah-hem) are spots that you'd expect to be more popular, such as public bathrooms (22%), airplanes (7% are imembers of the Mile High Club), and, bizarrely, a church (5%). We're thinking the confessional booth must be the hot zone.

Adam & Eve's "resident sex expert," Dr. Kat Van Kirk, finds these numbers to be a great sign and proof that "Sex in public can add a sense of adventure to routine lovemaking habits." Because there really is nothing better than some public tumbling to spice up your sex life -- so long as your discreet about it.
