Target Seems to be Changing sides Again: A Lady Gaga Gay Deal

The new gay anthem, brought to you by...Target?
Target Corp. said Thursday it has teamed with superstar Lady Gaga "to offer fans an exclusive deluxe edition of her new album, 'Born This Way'." Fans who pre-order her album through Target.com can download the title track starting Friday.
Target has formed partnerships with many artists over the years, but this one instantly drew some lively social-media comment. Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" is proudly pro-gay, and singer Elton John has suggested it will become the new gay "anthem."
Last summer, Target was in the crosshairs of gay-rights groups for making a $150,000 corporate donation aiding an anti-gay-rights Republican, Tom Emmer. Target's chief executive apologized, but despite protests and boycotts, the company declined to make an offsetting donation to pro-gay-rights groups.
Now, Minneapolis-based Target seems to be singing a different tune. In addition to Lady Gaga, Target recently teamed up with Latin singer Ricky Martin, who last year said that he is gay.

No Adam - sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings but:
1. There is no Santa Claus
2. Target offered her a deal and she went for it (hey, maybe she justified it by telling herself that that would be less money for them to give to right wing loonies). The bottom line - and that' s all Target an LG are about anyway - is that now gays will flock back to Target for all there shopping needs because "if Gaga likes them then they must be OK." Gee, maybe she and S Palin can go hunting together and then whip up some new frocks from what they bag. Then we can all jump on the "Palin '12" bandwagon. SHEEP!
