Alexandra Burke and JLS strip down to their undies as they promote their new joint fashion range

Since rising to the dizzy heights of fame two years ago, neither Alexandra Burke or JLS have exactly been shy about flashing a bit of flesh.

So it was of no surprise to see the pop star and the boy band show off their enviably toned and trim figures in a very sexy photo shoot.

But this wasn't just any excuse for the fivesome to get their kit off for the camera but a new business venture for the singers.

The boys and Miss Burke have joined forces to create their own fashion brand called 2KX, and will be debuting their first collection this Spring/Summer.

The pop collective said since meeting on the X Factor in 2008, they have wanted to design a fashion range that would reflect their personal styles and love of fashion. 

Using ideas and inspirations they have collected over the years, they formed 2KX, which incorporates both a menswear and women's wear collection that can be worn casually during the day or dressed up and glamorous for the evening.

The name comes from the abbreviation adopted for the year 2000 - 2K - and the letter X, which is the Roman numeral for 10, adding up to 2010, the year the group created the label.

Having already shown off a teaser of what's to come in a few months time, today they unveiled the brand's underwear collection for men and women.

And rather than pay for some models to pose for the collection, the young, fit and toned stars decided to get their kit off themselves instead.

Alexandra and JLS met on the fifth series of the X Factor with Alexandra winning the competition and the boys coming second, although both have gone on to have successful chart careers and perform on sell-out tours.

They have also designed a special t-shirt for charity, and all money made from them will go to Capital FM's Help A London Child appeal.

The collection launches at USC - a store that sells branded clothing up and down the UK - in the Spring.
