California, USA: Japanese Paper Seeks Gay/Lesbian Couple Marrying in State Within Two Weeks

Yomiuri Shimbun is Japan’s largest newspaper in circulation. Their Los Angeles branch is currently writing stories for a series, translated as A Walk inside the USA, profiling everyday events that occur in America that would interest their Japanese readers in Japan.

Their next story is profiling a same-sex marriage ceremony/commitment ceremony. They are looking for a couple who is going to be getting married within the next couple of weeks and is willing to have their wedding photographed.

The location can be anywhere in California. The bureau chief and another employee would attend the wedding and take photos unobtrusively. They would also like to interview the couple before or after the wedding, whichever is most convenient.
