We never had a Democracy and Jan 6th Proved it~
As the title proposes I will like to back it up so you can be assured that what we are taught in regards to what our nation is, not in school but by our village of family and friends and Politicians and the U.S.media. is not true.
I will like to ask you why if our votes count in modern history the Republican party or GOP has not won a presidential election for the past 60 years or so while losing the votes. But you will probably will be quick to tell me that in that span of time we had a Reagan, a Bush Sr. {{A Bush Jr whose even the president electorate did not go for him but the election was very close that Al Gore was announced by most media as the winner and he had the votes. Florida's votes gave Bush, the Republican candidate, 271 electoral votes, one more than the 270 required to win the Electoral College. This meant the defeat of Democratic candidate Al Gore, who won 267 electoral votes but received 266, as a "faithless elector" from the District of Columbia abstained from voting.
Gore received 48.4 percent while Bush received 47.9, losing by over 540,000 votes. U.S. presidents, however, are chosen by the Electoral College, a system in which “electoral votes” are assigned to states based on their population and then awarded as a lump sum to the winner of the popular vote in that state—currently, it takes 270 electoral votes to win. By the end of Election Night, 2000, Gore’s tally stood at 250, and Bush’s stood at 246 with Oregon, Wisconsin, and Florida too close to call.
As this went to the Supreme Court in which Justice Sandra Day O'Connor in charge of the Florida District stopped the count when it switched to Bush ahead but it had been Bush under and there were millions of votes still to be counted. These votes were rejected by the GOP in Florida saying that many voters click the machine for Al Gore by mistake they really wanted to vote for Bush. You might ask now and with good reason how would anybody know that? By counting the votes! but because the votes in any election that is close enough sometimes it would show one candidate ahead and then the other when a big batch of votes comes in from districts late reporting or any reason. So why would you have a GOP justice stopping the recount which showed Gore as a winner when Bush had enough electoral votes, but it will change as more votes were counted since they already had been counted once., same as Gore when it went ahead by one as I recalled this. She stopped the count so the election in this so-called democracy was given to a Republican runner that was behind on the popular votes when Bush reach the magic number. No matter Gore was winning and had more people even without counting all the districts that were democratic in Florida.}}
After bush jr. there was Bill Clinton but the margins were so big the GOP could not make a case. That is how it works. In a big margin than in ok but how about when is not? To have one candidate sweep the popular and College vote is unusual so we are stuck with small margins which will make the party in power more likely than not to elect the next president, not the voters.
These are not secrets everyone involved in politics knows. When Hillary Clinton ran against Donald Trump she was ahead in every poll. She also lost by millions of votes, over 3 million. But like I mentioned she lost to someone who does not go by laws but by the power button. Trump had already said he will cont concede before the elections because he said it was going to be fixed. Well, he knew how they are fixed.

Now even in a Presidential election in which a candidate sweeps the floor with the others like Biden against Trump now, Trump wants to declare the whole system of electoral votes illegal so he must stay as President. Just like Putin in Russia which also has a system of voting with only one party controlling the elections. There they poison and jailed the opposition. In the U.S. we were going to have a mob of illy informed people who do not like our system of government but they won't leave the nation either. Well, no nation will take those people that went and defecated in the offices of the Democrats at Capital hill after gaining entrance by force.
Why arent we like England in which the people elected a clown as Prime Minister and finally it was too much to wait for the next election, even though his party had recently won the elections so he stayed in power but when word came out of what he was doing particularly while everyone was locked up int heir houses he was having drinking sex parties at 10 Downing St..
He had to resign or his clown butt would have seen criminal charges against him.
There was no violence on the streets and a new PM is appointed until the next elections. Nothing changed in England. These are the people the United States fought for. But now they wanted to be different from them. No king but a president elected. Elected by whom? Elected by the people? No way these were white slave owners who did not want to rock the boat and have the new nation make them unemployed. Well, how about the future? In the future, the people will now be allowed to vote. Only white land owners.
But who would these white land owners be voting for? Even if they would not be trusted to vote directly for the next president they knew the nation will grow and change. They probably would have a lot of American voters. So they could not vote for President, instead, they will vote for so-called electors. These electors will be picked not by the people voting but by the party they represented.
So please let's correct the politicians to keep saying there is a democracy because if you know the meaning a democracy is voted for the people by the people, not by unknown characters called electors.
I wished I had paid more attention to my civil classes but it intrigued me when I grew up about how can you not vote for President but everybody says you are. The only way the voting public gets it the way it's by making it NOT a close election. Still, there are problems that end up at the Supreme Court and you know these people are as Partisan as people in Congress. Imagined a job for life in which they don't do anything but sign documents prepared for them by the lawyers or lawyers to be working for them. You don't get that job because you are pretty because none of them are or have been. I will let ponder how you get that job. That is the only job I have always wanted and know I could be as good as any of them. Probably you too.
Hopefully, this will interest at least one person who will check what I'm writing and say, I want democracy, how do I get one? I am writing this now because we will learn how close we came to losing this Republic which is not a democracy but better than autocracy.
