New York City Injustice Having a Proper Owned Gun-Don't Use It~ Unless ur a cop

                                   Collected guns from crime scenes and confiscations of weapons

                         Corrections officer Charged with murder at the center

In NYC is impossible to register a gun because they won't let you. But they will put you in jail if you have one unregistered one. Even with the Supreme Court saying that was unconstitutional NYC continues to do what they have always done. They say there are everyday gun shootings in NYC and that is true but I don't understand what they have to do after a decent New Yorker that uses one even when their guns are registered and they even work for the city as peace officers.

This man made a mistake by not reporting the shooting and he reacted too quick by being hit by the bullet of a pellet gun. If you have ever been shot in certain parts of your body for the first time you would think is anything because I have been shot and didn't fall to the ground until over 10 secondsSuspected I might have been shot because of the pain in my ears, later and I knew I was shot by gushing blood coming out of me.
This officer knew he was shot and responded to the people in a car who just shot him. You can pick certain things he could have done but when you feel you have been shot regulations of this city are not one of the things that will go through your mind. So to make a case that you can't have a gun they go after this citizen, who happens to be a peace officer allowed to carry a gun. Allowed to carry a gun for what? Show?

Oh, but he shot somebody and it then hit him in a bad place in this guy's body and he died! This guy was going around in a car shooting people and putting people in danger. Who knows where those illegal pellets were going land? Was the guy that got shot and died a victim? That is the question. If he was not the victim he was the perv and a citizen had the right to defend him/herself. But this stuff keeps happening.

It's like the city and the DA get points by charging people with murder. The same thing happened to the store owner who was being beaten the crab of him and he got his gun and shot this mother. He was chaged with murder and put in jail, no buts.. I am shamed of this city and how they treat the people who are being targeted by crimes. No, you can't defend yourself. The point is what would you do if you are carrying a gun (in this case legal) and you feel that a guy in a car who just pointed out he shot you with a nice smile? What would you do? You believe you are shot and you have your gun. What would you do? {Adam Gonzalez}

CORRECTION OFFICER ARRESTED AFTER KILLING BRONX TEEN WHO FIRED WATER PELLETS FROM TOY GUN

Dion Middleton

A New York City correction officer is being charged after the shooting and killing of an 18-year-old man in the Bronx, the NY Times reports.

Correction officer Dion Middleton was off duty and told the police that he fired a single bullet after he was hit in the back with what he thought may have been glass shards or bullet fragments.

Middleton’s lawyer said in court last Friday that his client feared for his life and thought he was in danger.
Middleton said he turned and saw a passenger in a silver car gesture with his hand before the window began to roll up, and the car began to turn near Morris Avenue. That is when he fired his weapon.

“I felt threatened, I took my weapon, I shot,” he said to the police officers.
He then left the scene without reporting the shooting. His attorney said that the correction officer only learned later that the bullet discharged from his gun had struck 18-year-old Raymond Chaluisant.

The police officers who responded to a 911 call discovered Chaluisant dead in the car. A weapon wasn’t found, although a pellet gun that shot gel pellets filled with water was discovered.
Middleton has been charged with second-degree murder and first- and second-degree manslaughter. He is looking at a life sentence in prison if convicted of the top count. He was suspended without pay, according to the city’s Corrections Department. The department said he earned $221,684 last year, including overtime pay.

The New York Police Department (NYPD) posted a message on social media warning that “air rifles” are illegal in New York City.
