Another Actor on Kevin Spacey, "He Grabbed My Whole Crotch"

New allegations of sexual misconduct have surfaced against actor Kevin Spacey, as questions mount over the fate of projects tied to the two-time Oscar winner.
Mexican actor Roberto Cavazos and American documentary filmmaker Tony Montana have come forward with accounts of how Spacey allegedly made unwanted advances and even groped one of them. The new accusations follow the explosive allegation by actor Anthony Rapp that Spacey sexually assaulted him in the 1980s when he was just 14 and Spacey was 26.

Production on the sixth and last season of Netflix’s “House of Cards,” in which Spacey plays the lead role of Frank Underwood, has since been suspended. The streaming giant, which said it was “deeply troubled” by Rapp’s allegation, is also behind “Gore,” an upcoming biopic starring Spacey as the late American writer Gore Vidal. Shooting on the project wrapped last month in Italy.

Ridley Scott’s “All the Money in the World,” in which Spacey portrays oil tycoon J. Paul Getty, is still scheduled to premiere Nov. 16 at the AFI Fest and hit theaters in December. But Sony’s TriStar Pictures, which is handling the release, has not commented further on Spacey’s involvement, and it’s unclear whether he will do any press for the film.

In a Facebook post, Cavazos alleged that Spacey made two advances on him, bordering on harassment, in London, where Cavazos appeared in various productions at The Old Vic theater. Spacey served as the theater’s artistic director from 2004 to 2015.

Cavazos said Spacey routinely preyed on young actors, particularly those under 30. “It was so common that it became a local joke (in poor taste),” Cavazos wrote. He declined to speak further to Variety.

The Old Vic has said no formal complaints were ever lodged against Spacey during his tenure there, but on Tuesday the theater said it was setting up a confidential email address for people to report experiences of harassment.

Montana told RadarOnline that Spacey approached him in a bar in Los Angeles, in 2003, and ended up grabbing his crotch. “This designates ownership,” Montana quoted Spacey as saying.
“I put my hand down and turned his thumb back to get his hand off it,” Montana said. “I paid for my drink and got away from him.”

Representatives for Spacey did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
On Wednesday, the BBC aired an interview with an unidentified man who said Spacey had made a pass at him in the 1980s when he was still a teenager. The man, whose face was not shown but who spoke with an American accent, said he had met Spacey at a summer theater and that the actor had eventually invited him to spend a weekend with him at his home in New York. The man said he spent the night at Spacey’s apartment, but refused to share the actor’s bed, and awoke on the sofa to find the actor’s arms around him.
