What would Hitler have done if he had discovered that Goebbels was homosexual?
Although Hitler expressed his hatred of homosexuality in most of his propagandistic rhetoric, it is likely that he would have done nothing if he found out that Goebbels was homosexual. I know, it sounds weird but here's why:
His old friend and ally, Ernst Röhm, was homosexual. Ernst Röhm had been a member of the DAP which later became the NSDAP (the Nazi party). He had known that Röhm was gay from the beginning, as early as 1920, but he did not care, as long as Röhm fulfilled his purpose and his role in the party. Röhm was the leader of the SA (Nazi party volunteer militia) and helped Hitler during the beer hall coup (Munich coup), to integrate other right-wing militias into the militia. After the coup failed, he and Ludendorff broke with Hitler. In 1930, the Führer would beg him to come back from Bolivia and take charge of the SA. He accepted. The fact that Röhm was gay did not seem to affect the relationship between the two men.
Only after Hitler purged Röhm did he emphasize that he was gay and began citing Röhm's homosexuality as one of the reasons he was purged. Although it was clearly not true; he had purged him because he feared Röhm would overthrow him and also disliked Röhm's socialist ideals and the fact that he threatened a "second [socialist] revolution".
It is also worth noting that the relationship between Hitler and Röhm was more than just superior and subservient. Röhm was the only Nazi official to refer to Adolf Hitler as du [the informal and intimate form of the 2nd Person, reserved for family members and close personal friends as opposed to the "Sie" form] or the nickname of he said
So if Goebbels was a homosexual and Hitler found out about it, he probably wouldn't have done anything. Although Hitler's relationship with Röhm was closer than that with Goebbels since Röhm was not as much of a fan of Hitler as Goebbels. Still, no matter if Goebbels had turned out to be gay, Hitler would have ignored it all.
