Harry Judd {McFly Drummer} Does Photo Shoot

Harry Judd is normally positioned at the back, quietly pulsating on the McFly drumkit and leaving all the showy “Look at me! Look at me!” antics to Dougie, Tom and Danny. But today, by very popular demand, we’re singling out this charming, 25-year-old man. And the good news is that he’s in a state of undress. Again. None of you will have forgotten that fratparty shoot we did with all the boys back in the summer. And not just you lot. “Every interview we’ve done, whether it’s Paul O’Grady or Alan Carr or Chris Moyles, they all talk about it,” Harry smiles. *Attitude smiles back.*

“It’s one of the first things they all say. ‘New album and, wow, new image guys – you’ve been down the gym. We’ve seen that Attitude shoot!’” So what’s it like stepping into the spotlight without his band buddies? “I was surprised because I’ve never been on the cover of a magazine on my own – it’s normally Dougie,” he says, fixing us with his intense yet quietly confident gaze. In the ever-evolving world of boyband attraction dynamics, the ultimate hotspot is never fixed for the duration.

There’s a beautifully unpredictable moment – you can’t force it, it just happens – when the previous pin-up-in-chief has to make way for an oft-overlooked bandmate hitherto left on the sidelines (case in point: Take That’s Howard Donald circa now). And today that moment belongs to Harry. “I was joking with the boys: ‘Fuck, I can’t believe it’s taken me seven years to realise that if it really came down to it, and we’re really critical about it, I am probably just the token member’, like Antony Costa in Blue,” he smiles. *A little bit of serotonin is released.* This cover might just change everything. Welcome to McFly: The Sequel (with additional previously unseen scenes of a sexual nature). Knock yourselves out.
