Rick Santorum Wants to Be the Superman of Traditional Marriage

It's a bird. No, it's a plane. No, it's a former GOP politician with a penchant for complaining about the radical homosexual agenda. Except the "S" on his chest doesn't stand for Superman. It stands for Santorum.
Rick Santorum just finished his last column for thePhiladelphia Inquirer, and his parting shot is directed toward the gay-loving state of Massachusetts, and its gay-loving judges who keep pushing marriage equality one step closer to reality. Referencing last week's ruling from federal court judge Joseph Tauro that rendered parts of the Defense of Marriage Act unconstitutional, Santorum blasts politicians for not doing enough to protect so-called "traditional marriage."
Santorum's missive is a plea for the political class, particularly the Republican political class, to wake up and smell the gay wedding cakes. He says that if Republicans don't make a federal constitutional amendment defining marriage as between a man and a woman a priority, then they'll have essentially given the fight over marriage up to equal rights advocates.
Well, duh
