Michele Bachmann has a problem with gay-rights activists.
The Republican presidential candidate was confronted in Iowa by an advocate who said it was likely that several of her foster children were homosexual.
The encounter comes just weeks after Bachmann — who has been outspoken in her fight against same-sex marriage — was approached by an 8-year-old boy who told her "My mommy, Miss Bachmann, my mommy's gay but she doesn't need fixing."
The latest incident happened at a pizza restaurant in Clarion, where she was accompanied by her husband, Marcus.
A woman, identified by CNN as Kathy Schnell, approached the couple at the campaign event with a sign that said "Gay-friendly Iowan."
"I was wondering if you would sign my sign?" she asked Bachmann on Sunday.
"Gay-friendly Iowan?" a smiling Bachmann asked before signing it.
Schnell continued, "I wonder if you're aware that 10% of the population is gay. And if you have 28 children, then 2.8% of those kids are very likely gay."
The Minnesota congresswoman and her husband have five biological children — and have fostered 23 kids.
Bachmann, who seemingly tried to ignore Schnell at first, eventually replied.
"Well that's according to the Kinsey Report," she said, referring to Dr. Alfred Kinsey, who came up with a much-referred to study that concluded approximately 10% of people in the general population are gay.
Her husband, who co-owns a clinic with his wife that has come under scrutiny for reportedly telling homosexual patients to "pray away that gay" in order to become straight, chimed in.
"Your facts are wrong, he said. "It's been a myth for many years."
Marcus Bachmann made headlines last week when he laid out his socially conservative agenda should his wife be elected President, insisting he'd champion pro-heterosexual marriage, pro-family and pro-life causes.
"Were' going to get this message across that marriage is between one man and one woman," he said.
Bachmann is not the only candidate to be heckled by gay-rights activists.
Mitt Romney was recently challenged by a gay veteran — who accused the ex-Massachusetts governor of not believing Americans are entitled to their constitutional rights — during a pit stop in New Hampshire.
And during Rick Perry’s campaign event over the weekend, a 14-year-old bisexual teen approached the Texas governor demanding he explain his fierce opposition to gays serving openly in the military.
