Control of the Senate is at stake in Georgia, where two runoff elections are being held. More than 3 million votes have already been cast ahead of today’s Election Day, a record for a Georgia runoff. Democrats Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock hope Joe Biden’s win in November in the state will help carry them to victory over GOP incumbents David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler. President Trump on Monday went on yet another disinformation campaign about the presidential election during a stump speech for Loeffler and Perdue. 

 England will go under a new strict national lockdown through mid-February in an attempt to stop the spread of the coronavirus, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said in a Monday address. A new and more transmissible variant is threatening to overwhelm the country's health care system, the prime minister said.
