Feb 20 2021}} An Inauguration That Almost Did Not Happen
Even if you agree with Trump policies you most admit that most of the wounds Trump suffered were self inflicted. He did not know how to govern. Why should he? He never work one day in his life. The only things he knew how to do was to get dress with very expensive clothes mainly suits and spent someone else’s money. He did nothing else. Even the two or so books that he wrote he was not the real writer like his buildings which were not his it was only the name that he licensed out.
What Trump did all his life was spent money he didn’t have nor earned, just talk.
The talk even got him to become president. He will promise anything you wanted to hear but returning on promises only happened if those people had some power over him, like voting for him (Evangelicals that exchange Jesus for Donald....forgot what they had been preaching since the christian church was founded).
They went hysterical because of their unfounded hatred for Liberals, people that love America and want to be here and the Liberals again that would rather give out food stamps than tax breaks to multi billion companies.They figure they could stick it to them and they did. But at what price? And as you know changes a president makes are not law, only policy. Only the Congress makes laws. Even the Supreme Court principal job is not to make new law. So far those that sold something important to them only got a temporary return. For a non religious person I have to tell them that Jesus Christ never talked about Homosexuals which the religious right have killed over the ages but he did talk about selling everything you have. And giving up your own family too but he refers to walking with Jesus. Not walking with a Donald.
The 20th of February is a very special day. To tell you the truth I never paid much attention to it. I saw it as pageantry and something that happens the same way every four years. But now I know What is happening today Wednesday almost did not happen, So I will be watching very carefully and enjoying that time. This is the first time since the civil war that there was not a peaceful transfer of power, look at the thousands of soldiers at Capital Hill. Look at the past President bugging out the morning before the President is sworn in. He was not treated like that but this man does not care about those little details.
Hope you enjoy this episode of American History that almost did not happen because some people sold Jesus for Trump and others did not think the price we will pay with Trump. Forgot that everything has a price and some prices are so high it will drive us to the curved. I understand not getting from the government everything we want, but this is our government and we have 300 million people in this big nation of ours and one President.
May this man, Joe Biden be infused with the same savvy of Salomon and the good heart of a peanut farmer that became President, Jimmy Carter.
