Having Christians doing good things for their fellow man, woman and child is particularly nice. It seems the christian season brings all of those ideas.
Some of them have little bells with Red Money pots. Ho Ho Ho.
( a very small percentage makes it to anybody that needs it..the rest goes to pay the NON-profit Org., who keeps the Profits for them selves as operation expenses and salaries; Except they most be called donations, so they can keep it tax free.That’s for another story-blog, so I’ll stay with this theme..and yes this is … public knowledge)
I happen to like christians. My mother was one. I was one. But christians have funny contradicting ideas about most things. For instance they have a magical figure called St Nick in some of Europe and Santa Claus in the West out here. It’s like Jesus was not enough, the parents not enough, people still need someone else to give the presents coming from someone else. I will dare say that when we replace someone with someone else, is because the first one was not providing or sticking by the original agreement in the wedding bows. Or may be one of them or both got tired of each other, if you have ever been married and divorced or with partner and change partners, you know what Im talking about.
I understand that some people need to enjoy the company and fellowship of others with the same believes. Singing the same music and talking about similar things. Like belonging to a club it gives you the feeling that you are not alone. It gives you the feeling that you belong. Humans don’t like loneliness.
My own experience is that knowing and having studied the history of the Christian church, I would be ashamed to b
elong to an organization as the church particularly because they insist in believing in a book they don’t understand, that most of them don’t know who wrote it or how it came to be. There have been many offsprings or branches coming out of this institution, the church. These offsprings churned out different but with similarities that are even worse than as believed by the original christians. Im talking about Jehova’s, 7th day adventist, Mormons, Santeria, Church of England, the orthodox of Russia and Greece, Pentecostals, and we can't leave out the believers of the old testament, the jews and their cousins both coming from Abraham the Arabs.. and the Catholics being almost the mother of all these other sects.
I have never been a jew nor an Arab, so I’ll let the ex-members of those religions tell their story.
Iam aware of all the wars fought between christians and chrisitans like in Ireland, the ex sovviet satellites states now given released from Russsia they fight and kill each ither over chritianity, land, money and even how many sands are on the ocean. Middle East-Christians to Arabs. In the Arab countries and Christian Arabs, You had the perseccusions and still have like there is now of homosexuals, of people suspected of not going by the local christian laws or the arab laws and having them killed in the most demonic un-christ un any holy book like ways. Now lets look at The Spanish inquisition
"The Tribunal of the Holy Office of the Inquisition (Spanish: Tribunal del Santo Oficio de la InquisiciĂ³n), commonly known as the Spanish Inquisition (InquisiciĂ³n española), was a tribunal established in 1480 by Catholic Monarchs Ferdinand II of Aragon and Isabella I of Castile. It was intended to maintain Catholic orthodoxy in their kingdoms, and to replace the Medieval Inquisition which was under Papal control. The Inquisition was originally intended in large part to ensure the orthodoxy of those who converted from Judaism and Islam. This regulation of the faith of the newly converted was intensified after the royal decrees issued in 1492 and 1501 ordering Jews and Muslims to convert or leave.
Various motives have been proposed for the monarchs' decision to fund the Inquisition such as increasing political authority, weakening opposition, suppressing conversos, profiting from confiscation of the property of convicted heretics, reducing social tensions and protecting the kingdom from the danger of a fifth column.
The body was under the direct control of the Spanish monarchy. It was not definitively abolished until 1834, during the reign of Isabella II, after a period of declining influence in the previous century”.
The crusades…So much blood spilled for nothing. Only a sea of blood took care of that in large ways. In small ways we have crusades all the time like Ex President Bush(the cowboy one) said before crusading with tanks and cruise missiles to Baghdad.
There is so much lack of morals we can easily used one of their terms and say ‘evil', that it demands a new beginning, you can’t fix it! Destroying of that church and starting from scratch is one idea…the other is, why bother? If the followers don’t care why should anyone else? Because of the blood that is lost and the looking and indoctrination of converts? Not good enough reason!.
But I really don’t care, since the point is belonging to a pagan church and Im using church’s term when I call it pagan. Again, BUT, if the worshipers feels good about them, amen. Let’s stick with traditions! Traditions which guides the Orthodox jews or christians because they can’t find written anywhere the crazy things that they do. That is why they are so afraid of science. They know that as people get educated and go into science, then is a different thing all together, …then they become small in size and money…but believers?…... they will always have. If this church intervenes to help someone with some bad habits, amen. The problem is that it doesnt stop there and they see as their main reason to be on earth is to convert others and the bible even say so!
The church insists you and I are sinners, when I know there is no such thing. I was born the way I was born. There is morality but it has nothing to do with religion. I try to be moral, I make mistakes all the time. I do try to learn and to love, because love is bigger than anything. There are also people that are missing that morality and do awful thing. But does it make a difference when you stick a metal rod up someone’s ass in the name of jesus or the name of the devil or anyone else. The one suffering does not care. I don ’t know why I do. I wish you Love and peace in your hearts.
