Queer As Folk writer developing new show about the lives of gay men
Queer As Folk writer Russell T Davies is reportedly developing a new show about the lives of gay men.
According to Deadline, the show’s current title is ‘Cucumber’ and the screenwriter, best known for his re-imagining of Doctor Who, is said to be working with BBC Worldwide Productions.
No further details have been released.
Queer As Folk, which began in 1999-2000, was cancelled after just two series. It spawned an American and Canadian series and had a longer run of fives series.
Davies is also known as the creator of Torchwood. Last month, the show’s star John Barrowman revealed that the new series would be the sexiest yet, with “man sex” and “full-on” nudity.
