Gay Couple Thank Britney Spears for Bringing Them Together

BritneySpears.comA gay Australian couple who first met at a Britney Spears at a concert in Perth, Australia in 2009 were able to thank her in person Tuesday night for bringing them together.
PerthNow.com reports that Julian Kiraga and George Kellis, who lived in different Australian cities, got to know each other at Britney's 2009 show at Perth's Burswood Dome -- a show that saw many fans walking out because Britney's performance was so poor.  The two started a long-distance romance, and then Kiraga relocated to be with Kellis.
On Tuesday night, the couple attended Britney's concert in Cleveland, Ohio and met her backstage.  "She had only nice things to say about Australia and she loved the story of how we met at her show," Kiraga told PerthNow.com.  The couple told Britney that they can't get married in Australia right now because same sex weddings aren't legal there, but if it ever does become legal, they plan to put the photo they took with herbackstage on the invitation.  "She was very supportive," said Kiraga.
Noting that Britney's performance on the Femme Fatale this time around was vastly improved, Kiraga said, "She performed the whole show live and sounded flawless.  We both commented on how much more interactive and alive she was with the crowd this time around."
