David Arquette was secretly gay? Courtney Cox ex wife thought so

Courteney Cox thought her ex-husband David Arquette was secretly gay – after finding gay dating app Grindr on their shared iTunes account.

The actress, who separated from Arquette last summer, came across the iPhone application – which is used by gay men to find and meet other gay men in their local area - when she was checking over their purchasing history.

However, she soon discovered that the application had actually been downloaded by her gay assistant.

Talking about the incident on the America television program Jimmy Kimmel Live, Cox said: “There were a lot of books... and there were some songs, and then it said, ‘Grinder - to find your same sex in your neighborhood’. I was like, ‘Wow, what if you actually don’t know the person you’ve been with for that long?”

The pair separated after Arquette had a series of public meltdowns last year.

They can now be seen sharing the big screen together in the new film Scream 4.
