The star has been an advocate for gay rights and was honored for her goodwill work by being chosen as the first star to imprint her hands in feet in the Hollywood Gay Walk of Fame.
Aguilera, who has openly discussed her bisexuality in the past, attended a ceremony for the Walk of Fame at The Abbey (the premiere Gay and Lesbian lounge in LA), accompanied by her dutiful boyfriend Matthew Rutler.
She said about the honor: "I share a special bond with my Gay and Lesbian fans. We've supported each other for years. It is such an honor to be the first honoree on The Abbey's Gay Walk of Fame. This is one of my favorite places and a special destination for Gays and Lesbians from around the world."
She told Out about her sexuality last year: "I think it's fun to be open and play."
