Tom Ford Kissing Richard Buckley On Cover Of 'Out'

Fashion designer-filmmaker Tom Ford is on the cover of gay glossy
Out kissing his partner Richard Buckley.
The cover is appropriate for the magazine's love issue; the two men
have been together for more than 24 years.
In the issue, Ford describes the moment in 1986 that he decided to
 marry Buckley.
“I decided in that elevator ride that I was going to marry him,” Ford says.
“He ticked every box, and – boom – by the time we got to the floor,
I was like, sold. He seemed so together. He was so handsome, he was
so connected, he was so grown-up, so he was very intimidating. And
he really chased me – not that he had to chase that hard.”
Ford, who directed Colin Firth and Julianne Moore in A Single Man, adds
that AIDS has tainted how he thinks about sex.
The arrival of AIDS in the 80s “completely flipped me out, and from then
on, I was extremely safe. It probably saved my life, but it damaged the way
I think about sex forever. You just associated sex with death – or at least,
 I did.”
The issue also profiles other gay celebrity couples, including supermodel
Tasha Tilberg and Laura Wilson, and Grizzly Bear singer Ed Droste and
 Chad McPhail.
