On 'Anderson Cooper,' Cindy Jacobs Joins Cindy McCain On 'Ridiculist'
Talk about “Don't Ask, Don't Tell” has landed a second woman on
Anderson Cooper's The Ridiculist.
Self-described prophet Cindy Jacobs has joined Cindy McCain, the
wife Arizona Senator John McCain, on the list.
McCain's quick shift on “Don't Ask, Don't Tell,” the soon-to-be repealed
law that bans gay and bisexual troops from serving openly, first landed
her on the list.
Cindy McCain's appearance in a video to support gay teens sponsored
by the NOH8 Campaign suggested that she disagreed with her husband
on the policy.But less than 24 hours after the video's debut, McCain
“Holding two completely contradictory positions at the same time? That
doesn't make any sense,” Cooper said on CNN's Anderson Cooper 360.
“She's for it and against it at the same time. It's kind of ridiculous.”
Cooper also called ridiculous Jacob's theory that repeal of the law is
“That's right, gays serving openly in the military somehow equals massive
avian fatalities,” Cooper said in Tuesday night's segment.
