Grace Jones to perform in Auckland
Just today I was asked at work about Gracie Jones. We had to go in recollection mode of how sexy she made guys and girls feel, but I know how she made particularly gay guys feel.

Gay icon Grace Jones has been landed as a headliner by the organisers of the new GrassRoots Festival, which will close out the festival season at Auckland's Puhinui Reserve on April 23-24.

The two-day festival will be multi-genre, but promoters Chugg Entertainment say its core will be blues and roots.
Joining Jones in the line-up are Tony Joe White, Imogen Heap, Lulo Reinhardt Felice Brothers and Eugene Hideaway Bridges.
Already announced for the festival are BB King, Elvis Costello & The Imposters Ben Harper and Relentless7, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Eric Bibb and Ruthie Foster.
The New Zealand contingent includes Paul Ubana Jones, Don McGlasha, Sola Rosa,
Flip Grater Hammond Gamble, Shona Laing and Julia Deans.
