Mr. Sulu George Takei, To Clint McCance: You Are A Douchebag

George Takei, who played Mr. Sulu on the original television series Star
Trek, took to YouTube to deliver a message to Clint McCance.
McCance is the vice-president of the Midland School Board in Arkansas
whose anti-gay rant on Facebook attracted nationwide headlines and
loud calls for his resignation. The 30-something father of two apologized
for his remarks in an interview on CNN's Anderson Cooper 360 and
officially resigned on Monday.
McCance cheered the suicides of gay teens in a post responding to Spirit
Day, a day that encourages people to wear purple to remember gay teens
bullied to death. He also wrote that he “enjoyed” the fact that gay people
In his 2-minute-13-second video, Takei, who married his husband
Brad Altman after a 21-year engagement in 2008, calls McCance a
“douchebag.”
“Mr. McCance, you are a douchebag,” Takei says. “No person, let alone
an elected school official, whatever their personal or religious beliefs
should ever wish death upon another human being.”
“I predict that sometime soon you will find yourself in the headlines again,
this time caught with a rent boy from some South American country,”
he adds with a wink.
