A multitude of 12 missiles by the heroic soldiers of Ukraine with equipment of NATO are sent to say hello to the Russians trying another comeback |
The invasion of Ukraine by Russia has affected all Americans whether you have your own car or you use mass transit. The price of oil jumped up bringing memories to the babies of baby boomers and their kids, of when we had the Arab oil embargo because of the war in the middle east between the Arabs and Israel.
We were promised we were going to take measures to make sure that didn't happen again. It is true that there have been times in which crude oil was less than two dollars but those things lasted a year or less while the world was stable and then when something happened the first thing that went up was oil and that affects everyone. Plastics to transportation, to manufacturing in every way depend on oil. We were supposed to have done a switch to natural ways to make things and other ways to use them instead of gas in our cars and freight trucks but as much as batteries have advanced tremendously still we have them exploding in our cell phones and cars.
The main problem is been to help to manufacture new ways to use energy instead of going to the more comfortable old ways of crude oil on most things we do.
The price of oil when the war in Ukraine broke out went crazy in days. Six to seven dollars and sometimes more on the west side of the U.S. Thanks to a lot of work and having both NATO and the G7 staying together negotiating with Russia and saying to them you sell it a lower price or you won't sell it at all. Still, Most NATO and EU are not buying Russian oils. They are using their reserves and nuclear, wind, water, etc ways to make electricity. Also, Natural gas is turned out to be very important for heating this winter.

I wanted to give you this introduction to the last year on the economics of the war in Ukraine. Thanks to the New York Times I will like to give some links to will give you an understanding of the war in Ukraine. This war is so important that the longer it lasts the closer we get to a nuclear armageddon in the way of a Nuke war. In the United States and the Democracies in the Eu which is where the Nukes are on this side which means there is a system of more than one man deciding to send all the nukes to another country or countries. In Russia, we have one man. An aging man that is proven that the way he makes his decisions is without facts. Even the in the past when Russia was the Soviet Union you have more than one man responsible for starting the war. We learned this the last time Russia and the US confronted each other over missiles in Cuba. The soviets blinked even though they had nukes hidden away already in Cuba which means they could have hit us without us knowing about those nukes. Castro Said he was waiting for word from Russia to press the button and destroyed New York Washington and other major cities in New York. Still, the U.S. would have retaliated not against Cuba necessarily but Russia. Thank goodness they realized there was no sense in destroying each other and the world.
So here are the links so you know the details and politics of the Ukraine war. This Adam
