Cops Find Legal Bought Gun (Illegal in NY) Under Public Defender's Bed~Cops Celebrate

A  case that if pursued can easily end up at the Supreme Court. New York is been warned they are going against the constitution in not allowing its law-abiding citizens to have their gun. Cities with lower Crime rates have citizens who have guns at home. But in New York, even the Politicians think New York is a crazy town. Crazy people  I'm sure they think shouldn't have guns. Knives ok.

A lawyer for the Bronx Defenders office may now be the one in need of legal aid after getting busted with an illegal gun during a dispute outside her home, The Post has learned.

Elizabeth Tissot, who joined the public defender agency in October, was arrested shortly before 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, when police went to her Vincent Avenue address after reports of a family rift, sources told The Post. When a man at the scene tipped off cops that Tissot owns an illegal gun, officers seized a 9mm Smith & Wesson semi-automatic handgun — and charged her with criminal possession of a weapon, according to the sources.

Well, The cops that work with the Public defenders' office in the Bronx were behind themselves. This is what was quoted:

“That’s like the pot calling the kettle black,” one veteran Bronx cop told The Post. “They defend the perps for this stuff, then they do it themselves.” “We call them the Bronx perps’ legal aid,” the cop asserted, adding: “I hope she gets prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.” She told police that she bought the gun when she did a legal fellowship in Alabama, according to the complaint. “I didn’t want to be the only one there without a gun.

Now the cops are calling the whole office the Bronx Perps. The cops in the Bronx should be the last ones to make fun of or come after this lawyer or the whole office. This episode that happened to this lawyer is very unfortunate but this is the first one ever in 17 years of scanning crimes against the LGBT

I see the other crimes; The police crimes from planting evidence, which happens all the time but in the Bronx is something that they do if they have the chance. Not every cop but how many do you need to have all those cases dismissed later on. How about killing someone who is unarmed. To throw a man arrested for a minor offense in the back of the van without any restraint and then the driver gives him the RIDE! from sudden stops to close curves that would throw him from one side to the other. Result: Death due to those injuries mainly in the head and spinal cord.

My opinion of the Public defenders is been one that they are overworked underpaid and don't have great lawyers like in a law firm or private practice which people with means can afford. But if you have been accused of something and you don't want to mortgage your house you go to the Public defenders and you won't get the top lawyers but you will be defended. Everyone knows that! Yes, there are some that work with a zealot mind because they feel there are too many innocent people behind bars. and I met one in North Miami, who was smart and wanted to go further than the public defender's office he knew the law and he knew the cops. I would want to be defended by him for NY crime because I know the law would be fair to me. The idea of the proper defender comes from the constitution in which everyone being prosecuted needs a defended.

In the past, those were the dunk, not-too-smart lawyers that could find no work anyplace else. But things have changed in the bigger cities. In small cities, if the judge assigns a law firm is not bad but if they have a public defender's office that office is going to run on fumes because smaller localities will use that money to prosecute not to defend. In the ideal world when someone is convicted of a crime there should be a good prosecutor that knows the law but it is also fair. You would like the same thing for the defender of the convicted.

There are people that never even get a parking ticket. But there are also others that live right on the edge and some. that just have bad luck. But if we send someone to jail and take their liberty away why not have the satisfaction that regardless of what the police say the judge, jury, and prosecutor would go on evidence only. That is the law. The guy that never gets a ticket would probably have nephews. nieces and maybe a family. I'm sure they get parking tickets and more.

This lawyer who otherwise is a law-abiding person had a gun she obtained legally and she had the way the law says: A metal box under keys that no one else can have access to it, particularly a child. She had it in a metal box with a lock and keys under her bed. Why did she have the gun? Because a lot of people that work in bad neighborhoods carry it to be able to do their job. Particularly a lawyer that defends the innocent and the guilty and the guilty particularly if the charges are really bad they won't be too happy with her.

I hope the DA in the Bronx won't prosecute this case. Prosecute to put in jail for what?  A real smart cop is saying to the full extent. of the law. Yes, the law tries to be fair and we are not dealing with a criminal here. She had it for a good reason and those cops criticizing her carry their own guns and if they had to work in a grocery store they won't leave their guns at home. I'm offended by those cops. No understanding just throw the book at her. That is why so many dislike the police in all of Boros. There is no understanding or seeing why things happen not just seeing the results. Those are the cops that become good detectives because they can analyze why a crime happens and who was the most capable and closest to the victim to commit the crime.

I'm also offended because this city is full of crimes by habitual lawbreakers and the cops celebrate that a lawyer got arrested for having a gun locked up at home. Crime is not going to be going down because of this arrest. But if you go to the neighborhoods the cops know, they will be getting the assault cases, Selling the dope, and killing others because they just could. Arrest those as a habit and crime will go down. But it doesn't occur to the mayor who was a police officer and he should know but doesn't. How do you bring crime down in this city? Every morning I read that half a dozen people have been staved, shot, and hit with baseball bats which is very popular. No gun in the car but a bat is legal and can kill just like a gun. If she never gave consent and these two cops went to her house under her bed and got the box without a warrant, there is no case. I will bet you she gave consent because it was in her mind to cooperate with the police. She is no lawbreaker.

I hope the police commissioner, do we have one? Well, someone in city hall should apologize to the Public defender's office. Better yet how about one of those cops with the big gun and other guns with chemicals, electricity, baton, and vest. That's how they go to work. This lawyer and most new yorkers can. not carry all that protection.

Let's watch for the stupid cops making those sick remarks about her because I think they believe there should be no defense. That is the type of cop that will pant evidence because once they arrest there should be no defense. Straight to jail because if they are as important to arrest a perv, that should be the end of the perv. And the crime in the Bronx and the transportation system are at a breaking point. You have people out of jail attacking citizens with bats and lives for no reason. Yes, no reason, I'm a witness.
