Alt-Right Blogger Threatens Releasing All Dirt on Trump if Bannon Fired-But

Mike Cernovich, the alt-right blogger who threatened to release “the motherlode” if White House chief strategist Steve Bannon was removed from the administration, insists that he never threatened the Trump administration.

“Fake news people are claiming that I threatened the Trump administration because I said I would release damaging information about Deep State,” Cernovich said in a self-recorded Periscope video Friday night. “I would never threaten anyone in the Trump family, legally or otherwise.”

On Thursday, Cernovich took to his favorite platform, Periscope, to complain about Bloomberg’s Eli Lake and his reporting. Cernovich was perturbed that Lake was getting credit for scoops that the alt-right blogger says he had reported on first.

Cernovich, who seems to have real, credible sources in the White House, then revealed that he has been sitting on many more stories.

“I have more stories that I haven’t released. I release my scoops strategically,” he explained Thursday. Cernovich indicated that he would release damaging intel about the Trump administration if the president’s more popululist voice in the White House, Bannon, was removed.

“If they get rid of Bannon, the motherlode,” Cernovich said Thursday. “If Bannon is removed, there are going to be divorces. Because I know about the mistresses, the sugar babies, the drugs, the pill popping, the orgies. I know everything. If they go after Bannon, the mother of all stories is going to drop. And we are just going to destroy marriages, relationships.”

“You won’t believe it,” he added.

The day after this Periscope recording, which would later draw the attention of The Daily Beast, Cernovich streamed another live-stream video, in which he appeared to backtrack from his claims the previous day. Cernovich suggested that his comments about the “motherlode” were directed at the Deep State, not people of the Trump administration.
