Israeli Org Fights Orthodox Homophobia

flower
How do you spread a message to people who refuse to listen? You take it to the street.
Hod, an Israeli organization that supports gays and lesbians in the ultra-orthodox (Haredi) Jewish community, has begun a guerrilla ad campaign to combat conversion therapy supported by many religious Jews. The ads feature posters on everyday objects like trees, trash cans and bicycles that communicate that they can’t be converted to other objects.
One sign on a bicycle reads: “No I am not a car. I am a bicycle. I did not choose to be a be a bicycle, and no conversion treatment will change me. Please love us as we are!”
