Donald Trump Deleted some of his Tweets Vs. The President but Lashed out at NBC's Brian Williams.
Donald Trump has deleted some of his angry election night tweets, but replaced them with a Twitter tirade against NBC television news anchor, Brian Williams.
Trump's Twitter rant began during the US Election coverage last night in which he said it was "a total sham and a travesty," the Huffington Post reported.
After Obama was declared the winner, Trump tweeted, "Well, back to the drawing board!"
Ten angry tweets followed, declaring "our nation is a once great nation divided" and "the world is laughing at us." He encouraged a "revolution in this country."
Williams reluctantly showed some of Trump's tweets on air during the election coverage last night, and displayed disdain for the Celebrity Apprenctice star.
After reading out some of Trump's tirade, a dismissive Williams added that Trump had "driven well past the last exit to relevance and veered into something closer to irresponsible."
Trump hit back today, tweeting that Williams "knows that I think his newscast has become totally boring so he took a shot at me last night."
He added, "Wouldn't you love to have my ratings?", The Seattle Times said.
His rant about Williams came after he deleted some of the controversial ones from last night, including tweets calling for revolution and incorrectly saying that Obama had lost the popular vote.
A vocal supporter of Romney, Trump recently vowed to donate $5 million to a charity of Obama's choice if the president released his college and passport records.
