Dead Champ Hector {Macho} Camacho Returns to NYC
- At the end of this week Hector will find himself coming back to his New York City where he made it made big as a three time champion. The last time that he made the journey nobody could imagine that he would suffer such a tragic needless ending.
- He was always a wild boy and a party seeker. Many of us have gone through similar circumstances in our youth, but eventually as we’ve grown older we have calm down. Hector now at 50, never did calm down. He did the opposite.
- He always came to the ring in a big way. He did not care to wear diapers as trunks(calzones) or 'calzones indios’ Anything to attract attention as to say ‘look at me I’m beautiful.’
- One thing is for sure, he left this earth also in a big way. I wonder that given the choice he would have chosen to go down like this? I would not doubt it. Hector was not the type to get old.
- The relatives of Hector 'Macho' Camacho go on Sunday (Nov.24) to the Institute of Forensic Sciences (nice word for morgue) to continue with the protocol established for these cases before moving the body of three-time champion to continue with the funeral arrangements.

- "It will be first thing in the morning. 'Machito' goes with me to identify. There is a protocol to follow and a family has to go, "he said to the PR paper El Vocero.
- At noon on Saturday the autopsy was completed in the( ICF) morgue and waited for the family, who were related to issues of getting funeral arrangements done for Camacho, who suffered a heart attack in the early hours of the day he was shot in the neck and face.
