Cleveland Brown Says “I’m Anti-Gay” Not Homophobic, But do love the “F” Word a lot
Another day, another homophobic athlete. Cleveland Browns linebacker Tank Carder (we wonder if that's his given name) went straight for the faggot bomb when some fan/heckler said something he didn't like on Twitter.
He goes on to claim that while he's anti-gay, that doesn't make him homophobic, nor does the use of the word "faggot."
Clearly his name isn't inspired by a think tank.
Check out the Twitter interaction after the jump.
According to Outsports, Carder tweeted:
He deleted that gem, but then complained about the outcry it caused (presumably from other "faggots):
He continues to dig himself into a glory hole, writing:
And then sums it all up with a non-apology.
Because OF COURSE calling someone a faggot is acceptable if they're bashing team sports. Our eyes have been opened.
We wonder if he'll get any sort of punishment from the NFL

Browns linebacker Tank Carder has issued an apology after he used an anti-gay slur on Twitter.
It started on Wednesday when Carder, a rookie who has played in 10 games this season, came across a comment he didn’t like on Twitter and responded to the comment by writing, “your a faggot for that.”
Carder has since deleted that tweet, but he initially stood by it when he was criticized: He described himself as “unapologetically strong” and said he didn’t care what “haters” and “fools” said about him. However, on Monday Carder returned to Twitter and said he was sorry and didn’t mean to offend anyone.
I want to sincerely apologize for the word I used! I did not in anyway mean to offend anyone! That tweet doesn't define me as a person!

To some, Carder’s apology will not be enough: Outsports.com, a website that specializes in gay sports news and commentary, is calling on the NFL to suspend Carder for a game for using the slur.
