The Rev. Ryan Muelhauser
An ordained Christian counselor devoted to freeing people from homosexuality was charged with eight counts of felony fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct after two young men filed complaints against him.
The Rev. Ryan J. Muelhauser, senior pastor of a church in rural east-central Minnesota, was affiliated with OutPost Ministry, a group that claims to cure same-sex attraction through prayer. According to a report in the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, Muelhauser allegedly fondled the two complainants, who had sought his help to rid themselves of homosexuality. The two said the pastor also asked them to masturbate for him to bring them spiritual strength.
One young man said the pastor cupped his genitals with his hands several times to bless him.
At a hearing, Isanti County Assistant Attorney Stacy St. George told the court: “There is nothing more predatory than taking two individuals whose faith and whose trust is put into their minister and their spiritual leader and then abusing them in the name of the Lord. The very predatory nature is what makes Mr. Muehlhauser dangerous to the public. He prayed on the vulnerability of these men who are so confused and have turned to him in a time that they have been rejected by their family, their friends and by their religion. They asked him to assist him, they trusted him with their most deepest and vulnerable feelings, and he used that power to sexual abuse them for upwards of two years.”

Well, if you're trying to "pray away the gay" you do need to be down on your knees....
