  About the pitch

Can you help us out of our kit? The rowing boys from Warwick University are stripping off again for the 2013 edition of our famous naked calendar, but we need your help to make it happen.
We are the senior men's rowing team at Warwick University, and for the last three years we've been getting our kit off for calendars and films to raise funds for our sport and for charity.
Our support has been growing both in the UK and around the world, so this year we want to make our calendar and film bigger and better than ever.  And hotter.  Did we mention hotter?  But even with the zero budget for wardrobe and a whole lot of favours from everyone involved, it costs money to create something really great.  So we need your help.
If you can help us to cover our production costs, we can promise to more than return the favour with goodies and special offers just for you - including an opportunity to come and join us for a naked photoshoot!  (You can keep your clothes on, but we won't.)
But you'll get more than just fun times and free gifts.  Because your investment will enable us to put more of the calendar proceeds into supporting young people to take up rowing.  Rowing is growing hugely in popularity and, with the recent success of Team GB at London 2012, we want to ensure we have the resources to nurture all the new talent that comes to Warwick University.  We also do voluntary outreach work to give much younger kids in the West Midlands a chance to try the sport, so you will be supporting that, too.
We will also be able to give more of our film proceeds to our charity partner this year -  rugby star Ben Cohen's Stand Up Foundation.  Ben's foundation tackles bullying, and particularly homophobic bullying, in both the UK and the US.  We were really delighted to find out about Ben's work - like Ben, we have had a huge amount of support from the gay community over the last four years, and this is our way of saying thank you.  No h8!
So please help us if you can!  We promise to make it worth your while.

About The University of Warwick Boat Club (Warwick Rowing)

University of Warwick Boat Club (UWBC) was founded in 1966 and has been officially recognised as one of the university’s best sports clubs for its unique combination of accessibility and competition focus. Now on the verge of top tier status in British rowing, UWBC has produced some of the most outstanding rowers of recent years, including Tom Solesbury (Current British Olympian and World Cup Championship medallist, Boat Race winner with Oxford in 2009) and Ben Ellison (2011 Boat Race winner with Oxford).
The club competes at some of the world’s biggest and most prestigious races.  The club has qualified for Henley in five of the last seven years, as well as reaching 7thplace in the national BUCS Head race.  The club has grown enormously as a result of its success, with 130 active members in the current academic year.  We are confident that the success of Team GB in rowing at London 2012 mean the club will be more vibrant and active than ever next year - helped in no small part by the proceeds from our calendar and film.
