Matthew McConaughey Always in Shape, Now's Lost 30Lbs

Matthew McConaughey looks so skinny after having to drop 30 pounds to play man with HIV in his new movie role for The Dallas Buyer’s Club. Matthew, who just finished beefing up to play a stripper in Magic Mike, has skinny arms and a sunken cheeks as he walked to his hotel in Manhattan on August 30.

“It’s a bit of a spiritual cleanse, mental cleanse,” he told Larry King “(I’m) drinking a lot of tea.”

“For me, it’s more of a mental thing than a physical thing,” he told King on losing the weight. “I’ll get down to the weight I need to get to. I’m on the way, and it’s what I need to do for the job.”
