Novelist Comes to Defense of Paris Hilton Taken to Task by Gawker
As reported by the websiteGawker, the author of'American Psycho' used his Twitter account to offer a partial, and confusing defense, of the heiress.
'I kind of agree with Paris Hilton,' Ellis' first Tweet said.
'As someone who has used Grindr? Paris Hilton isn't that far off,' the author wrote after the initial Tweet.
Gawker took Ellis to task.
'Or you just enjoy being a contrarian and getting under people's skin, in which case writing about your carefully constructed faux pas only feeds into your hunger for online vitriol.'
