Maher Takes On The Catholic Church’s Desire To Have People Return

Fresh off of his campaign against the pacifists of the Gandhi Nebula- oh sorry, that’s from Futurama. Fresh off of attacking the Qur’an as a book full of hatred, Bill Maher decided to make a better go at the Roman Catholic Church. In this segment, he makes a very good point that the recent attempts by the Vatican to get lapsed Catholics to return to the fold would be a lot better if they, well, went ahead and, you know, actually addressed the issues causing people to leave the Church in the first place.
