Crime is going down Trump says and is true overall. Not 100% true because he never goes for 100% of anything, not even profits because of all the money that have been given to this man from his parents to MAGA to Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Russia-when it had money. But he is not smart  to hold on to the $Profits.
For instance, he lost a case in NYC Superior Court on the case that he inflicted damages on someone he sexually assaulted this lady we all know.. he lost the case and was fine. He goes on TV and puts the lady through the floor. he said he enjoyed the assault and asked for more, called a lie and low life Etc.She sues him again and his fines went from $250.00(reduced by The Supreme Court, yeah!) but now those $250. are double to over $500 + interest. Over half a billion for not using any part of his brain if he still had any.

The crime is being committed by the forces of ICE but that does not count as crime. I will rather have regular  old crime like before than have innocent people accosted by men in black thrown in a van and then jail until one is process...before, there was really no processing. Just holding in jail and the airplane to wherever. But The really bad part of this new wave of lower crimes is that crime did go up.
For whom? One guess, yes LGBTQ. Crime against Gays, Lesbian and Trans are up. It's easy to understand when you have the continuous put downs and sayings we don't need rights or special rights and many more. It affects the people they use as the ducks in a shooting gallery. Our enemies even paid that ugly fat woman what ever her name is to bring the case to the Supreme Court against gay marriage. Those Trump  4 justices and the two hold out from the Bushes. The Supreme Court for a change stuck one of their fingers out and felt pain....for them ...and their causes, decided to not even look at the case.

In a city that's considered one of the friendliest places for LGBTQ+ people to visit and reside, hate crimes based on sexual orientation and gender identity reached a "record-high" in 2024.

There were 1,355 reported hate crimes in Los Angeles last year, according to the 2024 Report on Hate Crimes, with the county experiencing "record-high crimes targeting African Americans, Jewish people, Latino/as, LGBTQ+ individuals, Middle Easterners, Muslims, Scientologists, and women."

“Each of these numbers represents a person whose dignity was violated and whose community feels that harm," LACCHR Supervisor Lindsey P. Horvath said in a statement. "This year’s report makes clear that hate isn’t slowing — it’s evolving and appearing in the daily lives of far too many Angelenos. As a County, we will not accept this as our new normal."

The data for transgender people is particularly alarming — there were 102 anti-trans hate crimes in the city last year, a staggering 95 percent of which were violent. This is the largest number reported since the LA County Commission on Human Relations began tracking hate crimes in 1980. The county has only tracked crimes against nonbinary people since 2023, but still saw a sharp increase of 275 percent, from four incidents to 15.  The report mirrors a national trend of increasing violence against trans people. Nearly 6 in 10 trans adults (59 percent) in California have recently experienced violence or harassment, a separate November report from the Williams Institute found, with almost one in ten (7 percent) reporting experiencing one or more physical attacks in the past year.

“We are strengthening our partnerships with schools, community organizations, and survivors to confront hate early, directly, and with compassion," Horvath continued. "No matter who you are or how you show up in the world, you deserve to be safe and supported in Los Angeles County. We will not rest until that is true for everyone.”
