This week has been weird for the main fights in the United States and Ukraine. Ukraine is important because the Soviet Union of Russia needs to be contained. If not it will affect all of the nations that. now enjoy autonomy. Ukraine started with a big punch, destroying the Russian headquarters in Crimea. Most people thought this was the push that would get them to the sea. Come today. they are holding their own very well against all types of attacks from the Russians but little advance. Not to get morbid but there was the General in charge of that headquarters in Crimea, well he decided to have a meeting and bring all his top lieutenants. There were at least 40 of them. Not a good idea but how are you to shake your medals and put the fist on the table when you don't have the people that directly answer to you. They all got killed and killed with enough explosives to get pieces of them back to Russia. The Russians don't have any plans except to get killed and they do the most stupid things sometimes. They started arguing he was alive. Why? Just to be contentious because once again they got caught with their pants down. they prop the man on a pillow and put his glasses on. You could only see his torso and head and it was probably the only thing they had left. When everybody could see the rouse they put him again like he was in a meeting prop up with a white pillow holding his head and torso. This time they took the glasses off to prove he had a couple cavities next to the nose where the eyes are supposed to go. But I give them credit he showed not a mark on his beautiful killed Russian face.

That was Ukraine. Now the United S states is a worse case to see. Do you have the ruling House of Representatives voting to impeach Joe Biden? Well, one of these guys said it because the Democrats did to them, meaning Trump. These people in Congress voted twice not to impeach Trump and when he was impeached they voted not to kick him out of the White House which is what impeachment is there for. And this is all a game because the Democrats control The Senate and they have enough in the House representatives to quash this thing when it comes to a real vote. So, I'm hoping that the people who got those losers into Congress are having their money's worth and they already canceled Netflix because why pay more for this very bad, sad comedy.

The problem with this comedy is the other comedy that could cost some people their pay checks if the government goes into default. They won't vote to pass a new budget which they have probably in their toilets to read just like their boss Trump used to do with Top secret documents. If they don't pass at least a continuation of the old budget until the new one passes, everything comes to a halt. 

The founding was so worried about being different from the King of England and having power split more or less equally in all three branches of the government that they gave authority to people who came to Washington for two years and usually voted by people that don't bother checking the person who is asking for their votes. It's been like that throughout the history of the country and it will stay that way. The fathers of this government hoped that the electorate would exercise the power of the vote with careful enthusiasm.

If the government closes everything closes except defense, hospitals, and any other job that is needed to keep things going, without pay or care. They will get paid with interest when the new budget goes into effect. Hlpt to Ukraine will continue and the Coast Guard will continue to nab drug dealers and so on.

All the social departments of the government will close. That's the part that thrills the republicans. They like it when poor people suffer like if the worse the poor is the better off they are. It is my opinion that depending on the year and whether we have a full moon when we have a presidential election or any other election, weird people will pop up to vote and normal people will stay home. Don't know why but that is the reason Trump won his first and only term as far as I am concerned. That also happens when the crazy media is controlled by whomever billionaire owns or has the most assets in the company.

It is no accident that there was a reporter by the name of Tucker Carlson or Sean Hannity who Trump used to call him before he made a major decision. From the toilet of course.

So let's hope that I'm still here Monday to tell you where the pieces landed.  Oh, I almost forgot. As I told you yesterday a Senator for 30 yrs or so died at 90 https://adamfoxie.blogspot.com/2023/09/senator-dianefeinstein-dead-at-90-after.html.

She was a good senator but as she got older she sometimes forgot whose party she belonged to. She voted for a Trump nominee for the Supreme Court, who loves beer and dislikes gays. He also is a liar who has done everything he said he would not do which includes not eliminating abortion because that was established law, maybe he has had so many beers he forgets what established law is. I know many drunks that don't know what that is.

Poor Diane, I knew she was a goner but according to our forefathers as long as she keeps winning the 6 yr terms she stays. To me is not just the good job you do but part of that should be the responsibility to your job that when you get too sick or too old you let someone younger and probably smarter take over. She did not believe in that. She Had to be carted off her desk to the hospital. I was relieved when she died. I think 90 years is enough damage to the environment. Let's feed it and let a baby be born instead, Just my belief.
